Bacaro Pizzeria - Plateau Mont-Royal

I love the calm atmosphere of Bacaro. Calm and comfortable. I just wish they had a better selection of beer to go along with the great pizza served there.

We reserved at 8 p.m. the door is locked but people inside no answer on the phone but people inside… very bad business when there are reservations booked but restaurant is locked…

Great ambiance and best place for authentic Italian food.

Food is very good but portions are too small, especially for their prices. Outdoor dining is better in the summer because it can be freezing cold inside.

We loved the food! Our kid really enjoyed the kids meal (Spaghetti in Tomato sauce). Ara was super polite and great ! Our kid wanted to give her 100 stars!

The dough is not fresh, no effort for presentation. They would say that the food was reheated. You mostly make pasta, damn it, force yourself. Everyone can do better at home. Sorry but the guests I brought to promote the restaurant didn't even finish their plate.

The menu is very poor,long time for 2 pasta plates, the taste was ok but nothing special, not a real good service, definitely I don't recommend this place

Decent pizza, nothing more. Very very basic drinks. Flat atmosphere.But the big weak point is the service. There were two of us at our table and there were four other tables occupied, so a very quiet evening. There were two servers. We waited 25 minutes for someone to come see us. We had time to finish our drinks before the food arrived. We then ordered another drink. The waiter forgot and we had to ask again. Finally we got our drinks a good 10 minutes after finishing the meal.. I also had to ask for butter twice because they forgot to bring it.. we then waited an hour without anyone coming to see us and we never had the dessert menu... the waiters seemed bored and wandered slowly around the restaurant or looked at their cell phones behind the bar. Horrible horrible service.
