We went there before a show. It was perfect! Food was served in time. Drinks were good. We all had soup. It was sublime! Great place to go for a quick dinner with friends. It's not fine dining. But it's friendly, happy and the food is awesome!

The food looked delicious, but we waited more than 1h for our food to be served when there was only 3 tables taken in the restaurant. My friends ordered fried chicken and fries with beef toppings and got super sick after eating them (akin to food poisoning, since those who didn’t eat this dish were fine). The fried chicken was also tasteless. Not everything was bad, like the udons, but definitely will not come again and will not recommend.

Stayed at the Sheraton Hotel on Rene Lévesque Quest, Montréal. Bar 1994 is just 5 min walk from the hotel. Good food, nice service and atmosphere. Strongly recommended.

Chose this bar for my birthday and called twice to make sure everything would go well. The first time I asked about the menu and how for a group of 12 we would pay and order. I was told that everyone could order a la carte, there was no groupe menu and they could pay as per usual. The service goes well then we get told that the items can't be separated each their own and everything got mixed up. With much trouble we solve it by splitting the bill or so. Then we get to the cake, and barely had the time to eat because at 23:45 we get told you guys have 15min were closing... the ggl map clearly said the closing time is 2am. At no time, either during the 2 phone calls do they warn me about the time. They could've at least told us a bit before so that we could've brought the cake out earlier and not rush to swallow it and leave. At no point would I have chosen a bar that close a 00:00... anyways so after getting rushed out, I realized that they kept my lighters and my candles and 12 sparkles.... way to ruin the mood.

Whiskey coke served with low-end whiskey while the menu offers Jack Daniel's, undrinkable martini and beer served without a glass. For the main course, udons in a spicy sauce that fails to conceal the origin of the meat, that is to say slices of SPAM and sticks of surimi rolled out and sliced into strips. Server with absent subscribers, toilets stained with blood and dirty, smell of pot in the back of the shop and tip at least 18% for having to order yourself at the counter. In short, I do not recommend
