If you are looking for a private room for a small group of people, Bar à beurre has a wonderful place for you! We were looking to host a high tea for 20 people, following a courthouse wedding and instantly fell in love with the lovely decor of their private room. Vanessa has been responsive and attentive to our needs, was accommodating to some of our guest's allergy requirements, and had put together a beautiful setting, all in respect to the thematic of our wedding event. The attention to detail was noticed and appreciated by all. Her team on the floor were present and responsive, always nice and courteous to me and my guests. We pre-selected a number of teas from their provided list of teas and the selection was varied enough to satisfy everyone's taste. I personally enjoyed their earl grey and peach tea. The food tasted fresh, the selection of sweets are tasty and the service paired nicely with our teas. I especially remember their matcha macarons and cupcakes. Thank you Bar à beurre. We had a lovely wedding event and your decor, food and service have contributed to making this day memorable.

Panini was soggy and not warm. Cheese not melted. They said the bread was too thin to heat it more...was very disappointed and regret not getting a refund.

Best bakery ever. All of their baked goods are incredible. Especially the croissants! Staff is always super friendly, as are the owners. Best part as they give biscuits to my dog. ? ?

I love their butterballs and cupcakes! They have unique desserts that you don’t see often and popular flavours.

The macaroons are inedible, too sweet and dry.

Horrible BLT pannini. One of the worst I've ever eaten. Not pieces of chicken, no, fried chicken croquettes! And a slice of 'single' cheese like Kraft, really!? The bread has no flavor, to be avoided. One bite and I threw it down the drain to say how bad it was.

This a cute café with exposed red brick. There is a second floor with stools and a tabletop. Very cozy! The barista was very nice and friendly.

Got a delicious Chicken and Brie panini. Took a butter bagel to go! Very delicious, super cute environment, and lovely staff. Definitely recommend stopping in when you need a sweet treat on your Montreal adventures. Signs were (understandably) in French, but the lady at the front spoke English which made it easy for my non-bilingual self!
