Tried Bar George my first night in Montreal. Surprised my wife after telling her we are eating bar food tonight lol. Was seated very fast, beautiful building. It was later and there was some music playing, not overbearing, comfortable volume. Our service was excellent and very prompt. Amazing building, decent cocktails, but the music is so loud and ear piercing. There was a recorder noise that literally made the entire bar to silent, would not suggest for a date, business function or catchup as you cannot chat with your guest.

The vibe here was incredible. The service was out of this world. The food and drinks we're delightful. There was an amazing vibe in the dining room while the bar had a great DJ. Beef Wellington was amazing. The lobster risotto was delectable. Very impressive cocktails, the old fashioned was great and it was made with Angels Envy. The servers were very polite and had great manners to serve the customers. Will happily visit again.
