Date night with wife. Walked in around midnight on a Friday and was seated right away at the bar. Bartender was super friendly. Made me a few cocktails that were off menu. We ordered the popcorn (crazy good) and the beef tartar (also very good). We had such a good time that we went back the next night and had the popcorn again and tried the kale caesar which was also outstanding. All of the cocktails were excellent on the menu as well. Great spot!!

Bar Henrietta is a beautiful bar with small tapas-like dishes. The food and service were excellent. No reservations, alas, and when we arrived there was a waiting list for the gorgeous outdoor terrasse (one of the prettiest in Montreal, in my opinion). However you can start your night indoors and they staff will transfer you outdoors when a table frees up. All in all, a lovely spot. Highly recommend!

Have been wanting to try this spot for months but since it’s walk-on only we’ve never been able to get a table without a long wait. My husband and I were thrilled to finally try but ended up quite disappointed in the experience. We each got a cocktail - they were good (not great) and reasonably priced. Despite expressing interest in getting food (and being told which food options were not available), our server never came back to take our order after giving us our drinks. We waited over an hour without being served and then decided we were going to leave. I’m bummed out that this was the experience after having waited so long!
