Have been wanting to try this spot for months but since it’s walk-on only we’ve never been able to get a table without a long wait. My husband and I were thrilled to finally try but ended up quite disappointed in the experience. We each got a cocktail - they were good (not great) and reasonably priced. Despite expressing interest in getting food (and being told which food options were not available), our server never came back to take our order after giving us our drinks....
OMG, It was the first time since I have been living in Montréal that I received such an admirable and amazing service. The girl who helped me, was so nice, friendly and comprehensive (cause my level of English or French is not good enough). I would definitely like to go soon.
The general atmosphere is friendly. My burrata starter felt like ice cream - unfortunately the dish was too cold and I couldn't appreciate the flavors. The main course, octopus, was tasty and tender. However, it was only at the end of the meal that the waitress asked my opinion on the wine. In my opinion, this place is recommended for a drink rather than a meal. It's my mistake!
