I’m not sure how this place has a 4.5 star rating. There were only about 30 people in total, and our group made up 24 of them. None of us will be returning. The atmosphere was far from welcoming, Frankie in particular, was incredibly rude. He repeatedly shushed us in a disrespectful manner and even used profanities. It felt like he didn’t understand the concept of a pub, where people go to enjoy themselves. Definitely not the experience we were expecting.

We went there for a birthday celebration, and there was a person named Frankie (not sure if he’s the owner or a partner) who was extremely rude. Even though it’s a pub, he kept trying to silence us the entire night while using profanities.

Nice setting, friendly and welcoming staff, we also enjoyed the performances of the evening! They were talented and funny! The 3☆ are awarded because we less appreciated the "Moroccan" host of the evening (whose sense of humor was heavy and disrespectful in our opinion, they made jokes "that we find inappropriate and disrespectful" about religion notably the Muslim religion and said things which in no way reflected the reality of this religion, we can talk about religions in our stand-up subjects but we must know how to treat them with elegance and not say anything just to do laugh people)
The aim of the comment was in no way to harm the career of either the bar or the artist in question! So I am aware that Google reviews are more for giving opinions on a product/service and not artists who do stand-up performances in the bar! The person I mentioned in my comment was not a simple artist who did a stand-up appearance but was one of the people who works for the jockey as a host (unless I am mistaken) Google reviews are made to improve and not to destroy or harm the image of a place/person
