Best wine bar experience in Montreal. With nice bite size dishes to choose from. My go to place every time for a fun evening with friends
Highly recommend Mamie. A warm, cozy atmosphere and excellent service. Had a delicious espresso martini and split shared plates with my husband - all yummy and reasonably priced!

We had a great experience eating there last night. Zana offered an amazing service. The food was super delicious. Don’t forget to try the Paris Brest and their mousse au chocolat! The kitchen stays open until late which a noticeable distinction these days! We will go back again! Highly recommend it

The large charcuterie board was enough food for two people! We were stuffed, and it was delicious. We got all the different wines on tap, which were fantastic. Highly recommend this place if you’re a fan of wine, meat, and cheese!!

Everything was excellent overall! The restaurant is beautiful, the terrace is stunning, and the attention to detail makes it such a perfect place for a cozy dinner. The food and drinks were amazing — great cocktails, really good wine, and a menu that changes often so there’s always something new to try. The only downside was that the service we had that night wasn’t the friendliest, but it happens. Still, I’d definitely recommend this spot!

Mamie looks super cute and I’d been excited to try it out for days. The setup is adorable and the vibes were great when we went with friends after dinner. The server who seated us was friendly and we got a table quickly even though it was busy.
Then, we sat for a while with no menus while we watched other tables (even those seated after us) being taken care of. We eventually had to ask for a menu, but even then we weren’t shown the wine board — just asked to describe what we wanted.
I’m visiting so I don’t speak the language and was totally fine to let everyone converse and order in French, but the server was apparently unimpressed that I wasn’t paying attention to the point where my friend had to explain to him that I didn’t understand.
The server then opened a bottle without giving us any choices and it turned out to be something that we didn’t enjoy. We felt bad but he had already started opening the bottle as he was talking. He was polite about changing it, but the whole thing felt awkward. The next wine was better but a rather pedestrian choice.
Then came the food situation. We were told we had to order food (which we understood might be a licensing thing), and we were fine with that. We mentally prepared to force food down even though we were stuffed but then… nothing. For over about 90 mins no one came back to take an order. By the time the server finally dropped the food menu on the side and insisted we order food, we were on our last sips of our drinks and honestly didn’t feel like sticking around.
The space itself is great but the service was abrupt and chaotic in a way that made us feel uncomfortable — not something I’ve experienced elsewhere in Montreal. Disappointing, because I really wanted to love this spot. I felt bad convincing everyone to try Mamie when we normally would’ve just gone to Vinvinvin and had a great time.

Intimate restaurant with good wine list plus wines on tap, with tapas style plates. Excellent service and very friendly. They offer white, red, rose, and orange wines on tap which is pretty great. The prices were very reasonable for the wine. They also offer bottles for purchase too.
The food is tapas style so expect smaller plates for sharing. It's french cuisine, and the menu is rotated out regularly. I give the food 3 stars since it isn't very flavorful in my opinion.

adorable wine bar with so many options and excellent prices. house wines as cheap as 8$ a glass and still great taste. service was super friendly, but a bit slow. trendy spot and doesn’t take reservations so prepare to wait, worth it though! food was very good too, lots of small bite options. the terrace was very cute as well.

Honestly I was reluctant to try this place for a while. The big crowds of people lining up, I didn’t get it. Finally tried and I’m very happy I did. The food is not mind blowing, but it’s very good. But the highlight is the value. A decent steak frites for $30? 1/2 L of natural wine for 28? You can’t find good value like this in Montreal anymore. I now understand why it’s a neighbourhood fave.

Steak, especially the tomahawk is a must try and their wine selection cannot go wrong with it
