We had a drink coupon for two free drinks. The server finally came over and took our drink order then never came back. We sipped our wine and waited to order food but he never came back. After about 30 minutes we finished our wine and left. Decided to try a place across the street for dinner.

While I love the concept of an absinthe bar, the insufferable rudeness of the staff and the very limited selection of good absinthe makes this place a very disappointing experience.

I ordered a Mai Tai and was presented with a strange blue drink (see the picture). It looked or tasted nothing like an actual Mai Tai.

When I told the bartender, they explained that this was the recipe they were asked to follow — with one kind of rum and blue Curacao as the orange liqueur. I pointed out that this was completely wrong and pointed them to the corresponding Wikipedia article. One waiter understood and admitted that they wouldn't be able to make an actual Mai Tai.

They made me an Old Fashioned instead. It was okay, but then again, it's hard to mess this one up.

The bar felt very shabby — nothing like an actual cocktail bar, but more like a place that will pour you a beer while you watch some sport running on the large screen on the wall.

I was very disappointed and I see no reason for anyone to come here.
