The Lomo Saltado dish was great, hits the taste buds really well. The El Cacao desert is the cherry on top after a Lomo Saltado. The yuca fries on the other hand are a 5/10 as i prefer the texture and flavour of a fresh cut yuca fry instead of this iteration of a yuca fry. But others may enjoy this type of yuca fry, the sauces with this are great too.
Great restaurant. I recommend !

This was my first time going to a Peruvian restaurant and we were not disappointed.
We went on a Friday night, and both locations (two of the same restaurant branches side by side) were absolutely full. The atmosphere was lively and felt like a trendy place to be.
We were on the first floor near the open kitchen. Overall the service was excellent, the staff were attentive.
The food tastes great, it had very distinct flavor unlike other South American food I had tried before.
It’s a little pricy and the portions are not the biggest, but that didn’t come as a surprise all things considered.
If you want to have a higher end date night in Plateau, I would totally recommend this place.

2 weeks ago I made a reservation here for my birthday after discovering the restaurant through Mtl a table. Needless to say I was very much looking forward to dining here but the night was off to a very rough start: despite making a reservation over a week in advance, my family and I were made to wait 40 minutes before being sat. Had this been a walk-in it we would've understood but having to wait this long with a reservation was unacceptable. When we tried to express our concern to the hostess and waitress, none seemed to acknowledge us.
It wasn't until we spoke to Shaheen, the manager, that things took a complete 180. He personally tended to our table the whole night and really pampered us like royalty. I have truly never felt more special dining somewhere, he really went out of his way to make up for our wait. This was such a memorable and overwhelmingly positive experience overall that our initial disappointment was long forgotten by the end of the night
Shaheen, if you read this, thank you so much for taking care of me and my family, you have definitely made us loyal customers and we can't wait to be back!
Went for the Mtl a Table event. Menu consisted of an appetizer, main and dessert, for $50. I had the grilled octopus, the mahi mahi ceviche and the chocolate mousse. Everything was good. There were 4 of us so we got to try everything on that menu. The brussels sprouts were surprisingly good. The fried rice was a bit too salty. But all in all a pleasant meal. Service was great. Our waitress was so friendly.

Easy to give a high rating because the service and atmosphere were wonderful! The food was good, but every dish was just a bit too salty with not much else going on flavour-wise. Nothing I was blown-away by. Desserts were excellent.

Never disappointed to be back in Montreal and at Barranco Restaurant! This is our 5th time coming here, and it’s still our favorite spot in Canada. This time we also tried Piel Canela for their brunch — 5/5 stars as well! Please open a location in Toronto!
