This restaurant was an unexpected surprise. Although the flooring is trippy, if you have stilettos, my experience was wonderful. Alexie, the manager took care of us for most of the night out of his own will. Our meals were amazing and when I chose not to have dessert because I wanted something specific. He came by and gave me a surprise which was actually fantastic. Alex you’re an amazing manager and we were so grateful for your care and thoughtfulness throughout the whole night.
We had the ricotta, ravioli, the labneh And the lamb. It was all amazing.
The atmosphere totally brings you back to Greece on the outside and if you go inside, the club vibe is awesome. definitely a must go.

The worse restaurant to have any event on it Adding tip on our bill without letting you know!! Our bride and groom was completely upset and disappointed by their service!!! Our freind told me they didn’t bring their car because not giving tip!! Plus that they keep one of our friends like prisoner for not paying their bill when they have bride and groom credit card on their file and they can charge the credit card and they have deposit as well!! Sooooooo disappointed and not recommended at all!!

The decoration was nice, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing. The service was very slow, the portions were small, and they automatically added a 20% tip, which felt unfair. It was also uncomfortably cold inside the restaurant. The only positive point was the decoration, which I would rate.

We came to Bazart for a friend’s birthday and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. It started raining and no one offered to change our table, so we ended up getting wet. The service was not welcoming, they almost didn’t let our friend in even though she had made a reservation, and we had already ordered for her since the kitchen was closing (something we weren’t even informed about until we asked). We also requested a dessert with a candle to be brought out when everyone was together, but it was served at the wrong time , right as we were moving tables ourselves to avoid the rain. To make matters worse, when I chose not to leave a tip because of all this, the server put me on the spot in front of everyone instead of apologizing, and then acted petty. Overall, the customer service was poor and made what should have been a special celebration very unpleasant.

Bazart used to be one of my favourite mediterranean restaurant back when it opened in 2021. Today, I wouldn’t be able to place it in my top 5 in Montreal.
My most recent experience there left a sour taste of disappointment due to the long wait time for service, disparity of service between waiters and the poor food quality/presentation.
The table next to us got greeted, guided through the experience and had each dish composition explained. Our waiter simply dropped the plates on the table and left.
The burrata came with an uncut tomato. Just the whole vegetable with the cheese on top and sauce at the bottom of the plate. No effort to make slices or present it in the way that it was displayed on the menu. Note this plate doesn’t include croutons and we had to order the bread separately which usually is complementary at any decent restaurant. — $28.00 + $13.00
The ravioli were great and honestly the one thing I really enjoyed that evening. They had a rich cheese flavour which was complimented by the butter reduction. The presentation was proper, which was appreciated. — $32.00
The octopus was not properly marinated/seasoned and cold. Most of the flavour was just char from the grill which is far from the usually fresh taste I get when ordering this plate. — $67.00
The lamb chops were to be cooked medium-rare but came out well done and cold as well. While the sauce and seasoning of that dish were well measured, the lack of precision in the cooking and the fact the meat arrived cold made me regret ordering that plate. —$80.00
I thought I would impress by inviting my date at Bazart but I felt like a fool burning money on a subpar experience. While I could’ve returned the main dishes to the kitchen, after waiting 30m to receive our plates, we were too hungry to wait even longer. In hindsight, there are restaurants that offer much better service and food for a fraction of the price and I couldn’t in good faith recommend Bazart anymore. The slow service and degradation of food quality is obvious because I’ve been a customer for a long time. Note they now tolerate people being obnoxiously loud which wasn’t the case before and though they mention the place is 18+ after 9pm, some children/teens were still present.
