I ordered takeaway tonight from a spot on St-Denis in Montreal and was pleasantly surprised. I went with the large pork wonton soup (10 dumplings) and the hot & sour cucumber salad — all for $17.22, which I found very reasonable for the area.
The soup was flavorful without being too salty, and the seaweed pieces added a nice touch. The cucumber salad was also fresh and tasty, though personally, I would have preferred a lighter hand on the garlic (you'll see what I mean in the photo).
The interior of the restaurant is simple but clean. It was a quiet Tuesday evening, so the small terrace hadn’t been set up, which was a bit of a letdown. That said, the service was friendly and quick — always a plus.

Late review, visited in june 2024 but still remember it well. We stumbled upon this place randomly and loved it. Looked like it was family operated and you could see them making the food. Amazing dumplings especially the soup dumplings. Great price and service, it wasn't busy when we got there but it was when we left!

Beijing dumplings received steamed hot 🥵 had to be patient before first bit. Was so excited to eat it!!! You see the soup inside it looks so tasty! I took number 14. the juicy pork and coriander! Soo juicy I have to eat it with a spoon 💁🏻♀️ It os delicious I recommend this place 🔥

Found this while wondering around and saw the soup dumplings. They were very good, pipping hot and well seasoned. This is a great spot for those looking for something a little different.
This doesn’t taste like real Xiaongbao. And the restroom is terrible.

I am unsure about this restaurant's high rating. I had the xiao long baos and it's clear they were frozen and reheated. You can even hear the microwave and the meat is bubbling out of the dumpling when it reaches the table. The server was very nice and professional, the only positive thing I have to say about this place.
