We tried to order the karaage donburi bowl and they just didn’t have it for some reason, so we opted for the “grilled chicken” donburi. We were surprised that the bowls took 15-20 minutes to make considering how plain the food was and how we were the only customers in the restaurant. It was plain rice with seaweed salad, carrots and cucumbers on top with the most famous cardboard chicken you can get in Montreal. The employee that served us was friendly, the place was quite clean, but the food was just bad.

I have to say, I was hesitant when I went to order and realized the poke bowls were pre-made. What a surprise! I was super impressed with my bowl! It was fresh tasting, it had great flavour and a mix of textures. The lovely man behind the counter even gave me some spicy mayo on the side to kick it up a notch. Let me tell you, I never thought I would be giving a to-go sushi place 5 stars.

I had like 12$ left on a visa prepaid gift card , I used it to pay for a meal and it covered most of the price but I had a remaining 2.90$ left to pay, which I did using my debit card and the payment went through, the employee persisted saying I didn't paid the remaining 2.90$ and asked me to pay it again, even if he had the receipt proving the transaction went through ! He didn't seem to understand what happened, kept on asking me to pay 2.90$ again, I did it, because other people were waiting and I was in a hurry but I actually got charged twice for this 2.90$ in my bank statement. So I paid 2.90$ extra on my sushis today. Besides that the quality is acceptable for a food court sushi restaurant, but not worth that extra 2.90$ ;-)

Poor quality sushi, the rolls are too loose, it would literally fell apart when i dip it into soya sauce and the fish doesn't taste fresh. Rice is so thick and sticky in every roll, definitely not worth the price. Do not recommend the place. Such a disappointment!!
