Unable to contact them - No return to submission online, by email or by telephone. The phone is redirected to another phone number and the voicemail is always full so no way to leave them a message or talk to them.
Sent a request for an event, never heard back from them. Their phone number directly leads to a voicemail that is full with no other way to contact them. Terrible customer service
We had the pleasure of collaborating with the caterer Bernard et fils for a three-day event (involving 8 deliveries) and we can only express our complete satisfaction!
From the first contact with Keven, he was extremely professional, attentive to our needs and ready to adapt to all our specific requests. The follow-up with Keven was simple and efficient: he made sure to respond quickly and took into consideration all our requests.
The service of Bernard et fils greatly contributed to the success of our event. The quality of the dishes was truly exceptional! We received many comments on the diversity of options (including in our case vegan, vegetarian and meat options), as well as on the freshness of the fruit and the pastries and muffins.
The deliveries were all carried out punctually and with great courtesy, which greatly facilitated the management of the event.
A huge thank you to the entire team for your remarkable work and your kindness.
Having an order canceled 9 days before the event... sorry, but that deserves a star!
The cost per person for a cocktail party at home was around $80/pp. I was expecting something high quality and unfortunately, the food was very average. We will be very reluctant to order from this caterer a second time.

Although the food was quite good, I was disappointed with the service received. Already the communication was very laborious and then the ordered bites were all delivered mixed in boxes without any label. So it was impossible to know which ones corresponded to which (there were several hundred) and our vegetarian guests were obliged to have others try the appetizers... Not even a paper menu came with it to give clues. Only the delivery man was great.
Delicious! I was lucky enough to have a boxed lunch on my break today and it was excellent.

Poor execution of customer service (twice) and one mishandling of order that left me with zero lunches to provide to my clients at a corporate lunch meeting. I've ordered from Bernard et fils twice. First time, the order (approximately 10 lunch boxes) arrived on time but there were mistakes with the beverages I ordered (they were not consumed at all). I communicated this error to the company by email the same day and they simply apologized for the error by email. I would expect a credit for this mistake, but I was able to forgive this mistake and I placed another order with them a couple of months later. This second time, I never received my order and I only found out that it was delivered to the wrong place after I had called multiple times. They had tried to recuperate it but was unsuccessful because the other party had already open the boxes. They blamed it on the outsourced courier for the mishandling of the order and that they were sorry that they would be unable to deliver lunches to me for my event. This is the reason why I am writing this review and rating it 1/5 stars. I would expect them to try to help me solve the problem! Instead, throughout the process, I was sent back and forth to call the caterer or the courier to find out what was happening to my order, and hearing them tell me whose fault it was. I could not care more whose fault it was, I needed lunches for my event. They offered to reimburse me for the lunches that were not delivered (of course they had to!), but they did not offer me a solution. Very poor customer service and not solution-oriented. They do not understand the level of damage their mishandling of the entire situation could have on their customers and their businesses. Have I not followed up on the order, I do not know if they would ever acknowledge this major error on their end. I ended up having to run to the nearest restaurant to buy 12 lunches.

We did business with Bernard & Fils for our wedding and we are more than satisfied. Elodie (Dreamelca Événements) and the Bernard & Fils team were able to provide an impeccable and professional service from planning to execution at the wedding. We felt confident with them. The food served at the cocktail hour and reception was delicious and all our guests were satisfied. We highly recommend the services of Bernard & Fils for your wedding or any other event.
