Came here to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my wife: the staff were amazing, kind, and thorough with what the restaurant had to offer and details of the menu. Everyone was very attentive to us, and we felt very taken care of. Kudos to the amazing chefs, as well as the team who took care of us.

Tucked elegantly in downtown Montréal, Bis delivers a fine dining experience that blends sophistication with a beautiful sense of culinary creativity. From the moment you enter its dimly lit, artfully designed space—with its minimalist décor you know you're in for something special.
Service at Bis is both seamless and formal without pretension. Staff anticipate your needs without hovering, and the pacing of courses is perfect. Although Bis commands a premium price, it delivers a rare level of attention, detail, and finesse that makes it well worth the splurge. So glad we had the opportunity to dine at this marvelous restaurant.

Dinner was great. The service was incredibly friendly and quick. Our mains and dolci (desserts and coffee) were spectacular, but the calamari we started with was a bit chewy. Overall, it was incredibly delicious!

I will never forget my experience at Bis. The food was absolutely stunning, but most memorable was our lovely waitress Paloma - she suggested a wine that was beyond perfect for me. An absolute pleasure. I highly recommend.

Wonderful dinner with a fantastic waitress who helped our son, who is learning French. Highly recommended!

Memorable Italian meal! Cozy elegant atmosphere. Good variety of wines by the glass if you don’t want a whole bottle. We shared a burrata and an arugula salad for the appetizer, then we each had our own pasta dishes. My wife had the linguine vongole and I had the tagliolini lamb ragu. The vongole was generously covered in clams and the ragu had abundant sauce. Both were flavorful and filling. Service was efficient, respectful and not rushed.

I went a while ago, and all I remember is the food was okay, but the server? THE WORST. one of my friends who was with us ( someone unaware of tipping culture in Canada) didn’t tip her. Everyone who paid before her did tip her heavily. The server started to talk as loud as she can and went on about “you didn’t tip, do you not know servers live off these tips” blah blah blah but she was very loud , basically yelling it in the restaurant. My friend didn’t know what to say and before she could say something, THE SERVER FORCED HER TO TIP 25$ which was a 40- 50% tip based on her bill. She told her “are you going to pay my tip with cash or card” then, and waited for a response. She ended up paying with her card. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. Tips are not obligated and it’s based on service and to FORCE someone??SOUNDS LIKE EXTORTION ….Everyone at my table was in utter shock and disbelief. Also, it’s a high end restaurant, one person not tipping you isn’t going to even affect you. Maybe get a better job if you’re unhappy at working at a place where the money you make is going fluctuate. This is what kind of service they have. Forcing tips and speaking extremely condescending in front of the whole. The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant.
