Traditional Italian restaurant, Montreal style! Everything is exceptional, from the food, to the decor, to the service. The food is refined and delicious. The tomato sauce is the indicator that everything else is superior. What a treat.

The food isn't really that great, however, the service from our server was good.
It's truffle season and they did not have any meals with truffle in it. Very disappointing.

We had reservations here from a suggestion from a good friend. It really hit the mark! The meatball “amuse bouche” could be skipped. If i were to suggest something, make meatballs from the house lamb ragu, that would be a much bigger hit. It’s also a taste of your signature dish, should the table want to order it later.
All of our dishes were great. Two of the four of us opted for the duck special, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The other two got the lamb ragu dish, which they loved too.
Desserts were good as well. Shared the profiteroles and the crime brûlée.

Excellent & diverse menu - 3 choices of fish dishes included in specials. Veal meat sauce to die for! Had been to Bis several times up to 2015 but not been back to Bis since but it did not disappoint! Marcelo was a very gracious host! Definitely a not to miss Italian experience!

We visit this restaurant quite often when we are in Montreal. The food is always excellent, and the service matches. I had Chicken Madagascar with veg, ( delicious), and my friend had the lamb shank... also delicious. The servers are very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this establishment. Conveniently located on De La Montagne.
Everything was wonderful from the cocktails to the dessert! We would definitely come back here.

Lovely cozy restaurant right near the Four Seasons. Quiet, good selection of Italian food. We enjoyed the crispy zucchini appetizer and two selections of risotto. Service is professional. We will come back next time we are in Montreal.

I can't think of anything negative to say. It's smallish, but that just lends to the intimate ambience. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Attentive, but not intrusive. The food was superb. I had veal Piccata, which I have had all over the world - Florence, Rome, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and I've never had better (equal, maybe, but not better). The price was reasonable, given the quality of the presentation. I give it my highest recommendation. The only drawback was the parking, but that's Montreal, these days. It was within a short walk from our hotel, which made it all the better.
