We went there for a birthday. Location is classy and heart warming. Max, one of the owners himself welcomed us and took us to the booth they reserved for us. God was amazing and drinks fantastic. The best part of our night was the bar for the after, they had this incredible DJ SUNSET playing the best house music all night long, singing and playing flûte to make our night unique

Visited Bistro Chez Roger for their final night of their MTLàTable menu at 50$
The food was good, simple yet decadent. The braised beef cheek was unctuously tender and rich on a loose bed of creamy mashed potatoes. The wild mushroom cavatelli packed a punch of flavor while remaining balanced in its acidity and savouriness. The highlight of our meal was the carrot cake dessert that was undoubtedly perfect in its simplicity. What may often be viewed as an old soul’s dessert, when executed well, can be the embodiment of warmth and comfort in a mouthful, and it earned its position as the star of the meal.
The ambiance was warm, and the service was welcoming and accommodating.
Overall, we highly enjoyed our experience with Bistro Chez Roger. We were made to feel well taken care of, in food and in hospitality, and we will certainly be adding this restaurant in our rotation for a good comforting pick-me up.

We particularly enjoyed the Grilled Opercule Arctic Char and the fish and seafood chowder. It’s too bad that the seafood chowder is not on the menu every day, because we would return just to enjoy again and again…

We went for Mtl a table on the first night. Menu options were very good. Everything we tried was very tasty. Staff is very friendly. Would definitely recommend reservations. The restaurant was full. Definitely will be going back.

Waiter spoke too fast when explaining the menu. We were 4. I had mentioned in the online reservation we were celebrating a birthday. No one enquired as to whose birthday it was. When dessert was served, i asked for a candle. One if us ordered a steak. It wasn't medium as requested. No one came by to find out if everything was to our taste. We had to flag someone down. When the second steak arrived, it was underdone again, no one came by to enquire if it was ok until the end of the meal.

We organized a birthday dinner at Roger's for around thirty people and everything was absolutely PERFECT! From the impeccable organization to the attentive service to the exceptional quality of the dishes offered during MTLàTABLE, every detail was taken care of.
I would especially like to highlight the excellence of Alexis Lastrale. What a wonderful partner! His openness, kindness and management really made all the difference. Thanks to him, everything went as planned, the guests and the birthday boy were in heaven!
