I was greeted with a HUGE smile from this lady. Enough said!!!! She is alone and yet managed to be enthusiastic and happy. I will definitely come back here

Stopped by to get their Creole Poulet on my linch break and it was incredible! Great flavours! Great service! And such a nice vibe. The guy that took my order was so kind and chill with my broken french :)

We chose this restaurant because it is near the Botanical Gardens and Biodôme. I'm so glad we did because it was an excellent discovery! The food was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. I accidentally left my refillable water bottle on the table, and the server ran down the street after us to return it. Thank you!

We went during a slow period and got great service from the owner. She didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak French and we still managed to communicate and laugh. Partner and I had goat and chicken. Both were very good. I’m not a rice fan but I loved the rice here. Ate it all. The meat portions could be a little bigger but overall I really enjoyed my meal. The decor is a little “different”. There’s like nightclub style white couches on one end and a full wall length mirror on the other side but it’s a family restaurant. However we were not here for the furniture. We were here for the food and we both enjoyed it greatly. Would recommended. Again would love more meat with the meal but overall 5/5. For parking park on the street

Yummy yummy yummy 😚👌🏼bon petit resto haïtien
First time trying griot. Took the large plate tasso beef
Plantain is nice, the dipping sauce is neat for the meat but thats about it.( the small spice container is nice, but they really don't give much)
I'm never coming back here for rice and beans at 26$(before tax) as you can see in the picture. Those pieces of meat were quite small. To add insult to injury, meat tenderness was very hit or miss. First 2 were nice and tender and fall appart easily. The rest was rather chewy.
Oh and Macaroni salad was 2 bites. 🙃

You cannot go wrong with Big King Creole. The food was incredible! The meat was crispy and juicy and the fat was tender and melted in the mouth. The plantains were fantastic. Would absolutely make this a regular place if we lived in Montreal

10 out of 10 experience! This is what I imaging when I think of soul food! I was craving some African cuisine while in Montréal and this just hit the spot. The perfect amount of spice, and flavpir at an affordable price point. My friends and I ordered seconds to take home. It's THAT good

The pork and rice was gas. Pouring that soup into the rice sent me into a state of euphoric bliss. Clean plate by the end. Truly a bistro for kings. Gonna have to come back.
Bad customer service
The food was incredibly good!! The pork was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Yum! The setting was cute. The staff was friendly.
Very pleasant surprise, it was my first there and the food was amazing. The meat was delicious 😋 , the rice was incredible and the plantains were just perfect 👌. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended. A must if you are in montreal.
Very good!
