The service was painfully slow, and the place was not even that busy when we came. We had to wait for drinks for about 20 minutes. The food was delicious, I recommend the baked feta dish. However, the portion to price ratio could be better, I left hungry after having one dish. The have lots of gluten free and vegetarian options on the menu

Beautiful and nice authentic Bulgarian restaurant in Montreal. Found it accidentally yesterday, and visited for two days in a row. Completely fell in love with amazing food, service, and atmosphere ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 Food is like a homemade one, atmosphere is very cozy, service was amazing. I haven't been satisfied gastronomically that much for a while, but this restaurant was just perfect. It's a definitely place worth to visit, and a reason to travel to Montreal ❤️‍🔥

Nice bistro serving Bulgarian food and wine in Rosemont neighbourhood. Great for sharing and trying Bulgarian specialties. And purchasing Balkan foods to take home.

Going to Bistro Sofia is like stepping into a different temporality. Few things happen quickly, the enjoyment is in taking the time. A small room drenched in warm yellow light frequented by 'le peuple du quartier'. Couples, families, friends, young and old. One day it's rowdy children, another someone brings an accordion and plays for the late diners.

When I come here I am at ease, feeling welcomed into a sensory world of flavours, textures, and conversations that unravel under the most favorable conditions. The food is simply delicious. The pastry is perfectly sweet. The wine list is excellent. It is by far my favorite restaurant in Montreal!

Very intimate bistro, pleasant staff. We were in a hurry as we were going to a show, We had to rush off before we could finish our meal, we asked for doggie bags, owner told us to go to the show and come back after to pick up the food. He trusted us and did not ask for payment. We came back 2 hours laters to pick up our unfinished food and pay. The food was excellent, charcuterie board and cheeses, great Bulgarian specialtie!

Vegetarian options: great choice of vegetarian . Asparagus, eggplant dishes, mushroom dumplings, etc.

Quaint restaurant with delicious options of Bulgarian and Mediterranean dishes. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Our family had a splendid time dining there.

Parking: We were lucky to park right in front at a public / paid spot.

Kid-friendliness: The restaurant had high chairs for young children and the staff were very welcoming to kids.
