We got the Deluxe tasting menu for 2 and were absolutely stuffed! There was a great variety of rolls and textures - my favorite was covered in tiny crispy rice balls. Dessert was a rich, fudge brownie - good thing we had a nice walk afterwards to burn off some calories! #Veganuary

We tried the tasting menu & it did not disappoint! The mushroom roll was our fave, and the miso soup was excellent

Excellent and tasty food. The service was good. On the other hand, the room is very poorly insulated, so try not to have a table near the emergency exit, you can feel the wind from outside. An improvement in this area should definitely be made, especially when eating sushi in cold weather.

Food was good. I liked the tofu soup

The staff was not the best. They left us for too long when we asked for water and the check. The food came fast because we got the chef menu but not for anything else we asked for

Top 5 without question. I’m not that shy with superlatives but this one knocked all 4 of us out of our socks. Every piece was amazing, and some of them were truly incredible. We got the deluxe omakase and are so glad we did…every bite was phenomenal. Cannot wait to come back here, there’s a good chance I’ll never visit Montréal again and *not* swing by Bloom

During our stay in Montréal, we decided to try Bloom Sushi, a plant-based sushi restaurant just a short walk from our Airbnb. We went for dinner as a family, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional.

The restaurant opens at 5 PM, and we were the first to arrive. Even without a reservation, we were promptly seated by the friendly staff. Our server, Adam I., made us feel welcome right away and provided attentive, unhurried service throughout the evening.

For appetizers, we started with a classic: edamames, which were perfectly steamed and lightly salted. For our entrées, we ordered a variety of sushi rolls to share family-style: the Mangoo, Kamikaze Inari, Rock n Roll Spicy, and Moulin Rouge Sushi. Every single roll was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. They were so delicious that we ordered another round of the same sushi selections! We paired our meal with The Jasmin Hot Tea, which was aromatic and comforting.

The ambiance of the restaurant was chic yet relaxed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Adam never made us feel rushed, even after we had finished eating. He gave us plenty of time to enjoy our meal, chat, and let the food settle. Once we were ready, he promptly brought the check with the same graciousness he had shown all evening.

The whole family left feeling satisfied and pleased with the quality of the food, service, and overall experience. Bloom Sushi is a gem for plant-based dining, and we’d definitely return on future visits to Montréal!

Vegetarian sushi, beautiful and tasty, great combination that you don’t feel much that it is Vegetarian. Loved the one with shiitake mushroom, also the one with mango, honestly all made very well. I would definitely try the crispy rice too. Spring roll was very good as well.
