Bombay Mahal Indian Food Restaurant

I visited yesterday for lunch and I was met with no welcome. I waited five minutes to get my table, and another five for the menus and water. The receptionist, Geetika, was incredibly rude and showed no respect for customers. This place is definitely not worth recommending.

The worst experience in a restaurant today. I have been coming here for over 20 years and last 5 years almost every week.
But today was the worst experience. They increased the price on every single item. So, I asked if the price was changed on everything. The waiter did not want to admit at the beginning and then admitted.
After, I made the order, the waiter went on talking about me in Hindi loudly with others for a while. I can hear them very well and I was feeling very uncomfortable.
When the food came, I had wrong orders. I had to argue and ask for change. I was getting very uncomfortable again.
And then the food taste was different. I dont know if it was done on pupose. Cause I know the taste of their food. I eat them all the time.
The worst was, the waiter was always arguing with me and making me feel I am wrong.
On top of that, there were workers sneaking to see who I am and it was very uncomfortable.
Anyways, it feel very sad that after 20 years of coming to this restaurant regularly, I am stopping to come to this restaurant.

They are making fool by selling frozen naan breads and charging 4 $ each , its not fresh breads please watch before you order.

Bombay Mahal is my absolute favorite Indian restaurant in Montreal. They have the most delicious lamb korma and garlic naan!

It was a bad experience for me and my family. I ordered thali chicken tandoori was no flavor. I can't eat that.i don't know how the chefs cooked that kind of cooking.and served it from kitchen. Marinating was so poor and dingy.

Definitely not the best in Montreal, not even close to the top 5 among Indian restaurants. If you are habituated with the taste of Indian cuisine, you won't return to this place. Atleast we won't.

It is a delicious place to discover!! The owner is super nice and sweet and I enjoyed my yummy lunch and getting to know her. I will be back !! Thank you so much !!

Ordered chicken korma but got shahi paneer. Ordered palaw and got frozen walmart peas with food coloring rice.

And when I called them they said I never ordered and then started cursing. The worst customer service and worst food. Never order food from this place.
