Worst taste and the quantity is a joke.

Great taste, but the lady at the cash register gives a lot of attitude, very small portion, even the employee went to make me taste something new but the lady objected. In short, very stingy

I ordered the chicken butter; the portion is for children not for adults, plus the taste is sweet it felt like eating a dessert not a salty meal. The chicken butter tastes everything except chicken butter. I’m so disappointed, especially that the reviews on the app were high!! Moreover, the delivery took 80 minutes!

Usually I like Bombay Mahal food, especially in person, but I ordered Palak Paneer from uber eats today, and there was a weird foam on top, I still tried a little and it did not taste the same as I am used to.
Bed service bed food

Ordered takeout from here. Butter chicken was delicious! Chana masala and mixed vegetables were small portions and a bit too spicy. There was no veggie thali plate available on uber eats but i see it on the menu here.

Standard Indian fare, good quality, very tasty, reasonable pricing.
Excellent staff; friendly and helpful.
Dated decor and simple seating cafeteria style. Needs a good cleaning.
Best Thali and Lassi in the West End, I always recommend this place.

I used to order from Bombay Mahal all the time, until last Sunday I got food poisoning from the butter chicken. Was sick, in bed for days. Didn’t eat for four days because I couldn’t keep anything down. Will NEVER eat there again!

I tried this place out based on a recommendation but I cannot say that I loved it. The food was good, and although they say everything is medium spicy, most of it was very spicy, so some members of the party could not eat much of it, just too spicy. The options are also somewhat limited, but the food was good for those of us that can handle the spice level. The price is quite good and the servings are large enough, so bring a container to take home the rest as it makes a great lunch.
Vegetarian options: Several veggie choices and you can take the veggie Thali plate with 3 veggie choices.

I ordered a butter chicken, with rice and nann bread for $30, here is my plate. It's up to you to judge if it's worth the price! Personally, a little disappointed with the quantity. It's not bad in taste, but I've tasted better! *the photo is in the photos of the place*

I wager I've tried upwards of 50 Indian restaurants and have dabbled in the kitchen with more than a few Indian recipes as well.
Bombay Mahal is one of the worst Indian restaurants I've ever tried. There was no paneer in the Palak Paneer, they gave us roti instead of naan which was dreadful and the chicken in the chicken curry was dry whilst the consistency of the curry resembled more of a broth or soup.
The pictures of the dishes on Uber Eats differed drastically to what we received.
I called the restaurant and spoke to the owner and she gave me some song and dance about recipes being different at different restaurants. She said the paneer was shredded and the naan was "unique" (it was in fact roti). I challenge anyone to find me a curry recipe where the paneer is shredded opposed to being cubed.
I'm always reticent to leave a negative review on Google Reviews and haven't left many, but this experience definitely warranted negative feedback.
Avoid this place like the plague!

Ordered chicken tikka masala, but got butter chicken instead. Forget my drink, and got food poisoning afterwards.
