I read the reviews and despite that, I still chose to come here. This is FAR from authentic jamaican cuisine. I won't ever return here. The food was not enjoyable. It lacked seasoning and love, DRASTICALLY!!! Super disappointed

Reading other reviews, I must have gone on an off day. We got oxtail, chicken roti and patties. Oxtail had two small hunks of meat and the rest was just fat. The gravy felt like it had just been sitting for a week. Pure salt. Rice felt microwaved. We plopped down over 50$ and ate like 6 bites. I’d like to give it a higher rating but we couldn’t eat it. Even the patties seemed like I could buy them frozen and cook them better. Maybe it’s seen better days?

a friend recommended this place so we decided to try it today ...we wanted food for the PPV tonight...we got there at 11h32 .they were open ..we stood there waiting for someone to come but no one came ..we heard a woman in the back I guess she was talking on the phone but didn't bother to come ...then a man came in and took a box of patties put in on the counter and waited as well ..now you have 3 customers while talking away on your phone not giving a damn about your customers..I finally decided to ring the bell..even that didn't make them budge right away...after maybe 7 minutes a young lady comes and stands in front of the cash where the man is ..he mentions something but she's completely unphased by all this...he pays and goes..now it's finally time to order ..I wanted pineapple chicken and my boyfriend asks for jerk chicken...she goes in the back..phone rings..she answers then comes to the front to tell us that there's no fried chicken ready and that it will take 20 minutes or so to prepare..we didn't want to wait and decided to leave ...Well Boom J's the lack of customer service and the fact that the food that we wanted wasn't available because you didn't fry chicken .made you lose a first and last time customer ..

Food was very good but the service was very very disappointing. The cashier was barely communicating with us, messed up the order and then when the food was ready instead of communicating that she just knocked on the glass for us to come get it inside. Very disappointing since we like Boom Js a lot… would not recommend going to order or eat there.

Once upon a time best jerk in the city now it fell off
I am the whitest person ever so take my review with a grain of salt. I enjoyed the ox tail, sauce was super flavourful and the meat was tender. I had to wait a bit inside before someone helped me but they were friendly so not a big deal. Portions sizes are big as well for the price.

Bought 2 soft drinks. One guava and one banana. I didn't ask for the price because I assumed they would be reasonable. I got presented with the machine charging me $12 just for those 2 drinks. I feel ripped off

Food's good but they are crooks. They stole 90$ from me. Never order from internet if you don't want to get stolen. They are not friendly, on the opposite. Worst place ever. But good food!

Overpriced fake Jamaican food. In which I even found a hair in my wrap. This place is a joke. As one reviewer said, I wouldn’t even give this tasteless old food to a homeless person.

Went to the Jazz festival and saw their food truck advertising the jerk chicken poutine. The chicken was good and not too spicy but the gravy wasn't hot enough to melt the cheese which was still cold.
