Is Toledo really all it's cracked up to be? By Montreal/Paris standards, it's ... rather plainly... standard. Nothing is bad, nothing is incredible. It's all mostly decent (though a bit more expensive than other bakeries) with a few exceptions. So why the 3 stars? Very full on an Indian summer Sunday, the quality and quantity of the portions of the pastries mean that the bill is a little steep, a coffee, a slipper, an almond chocolatine and a 15% tip cost a good twenty dollars. But once again, excellent coffee, rich and delicious pastries!
