It’s a shame that the service and respect for customers do not match the quality of the products. The manager asked us to leave the premises, after we had purchased over $400 worth of pastries and chocolate. She did not take responsibility for her behavior and blamed us for being angry about it, when we were pointing out her suspicious and disrespectful nature.
Even if I appreciate the attention which consists of responding after my comment, the recurring "copy and paste" indicating "rest assured that your comment will be shared with the team" seems insufficient to me and not very adapted to the specific situations, experienced and described by the many customers with negative comments. The pro-active RCB (Respect, Consideration and Kindness) method would perhaps constitute a more appropriate alternative.
Sincerely,

Although I like the first harvest breads and pastries. The service is not great. I came around 5:00 p.m. on a Thursday to avoid the crowds and spent some time waiting near the bakery with 3-4 other people. The waiters see us but no one comes to serve us. No one comes to tell us that we are in the wrong place. Nothing. I usually avoid this address at the Atwater Market because it's always chaotic and after this experience I will continue to avoid it.

I went to pick up a preordered cake Saturday morning and it was a total zoo, as one would expect. However, the staff was professional and calm. Excellent service.

We have brunch here each time we visit Montreal. Sandwiches, pastries, coffee, breads are outstanding, parking is easy , plenty of sitting space, tables for friends and family gatherings, great location for a walk by canal Lachine after your meal.

THE FIRST HARVEST of the Atwater market is by far the DIRTIEST of all the first harvests in Montreal! The tables are always dirty and the atmosphere lacks the warmth of generosity!
Fortunately the products are good but don't stay there to taste them!!
