Me and my sister came in yesterday morning with her baby. The workers there were so sweet! When we were leaving they held the door open for us to get the stroller out. ABSOLUTELY order the crookie. It was one of the best things I've ever had in my life! Definitely coming back next time I visit Montreal. They had so many other delicious looking desserts

Great small place to have a breakfast in Villeray. Friendly atmosphere. The staff are so sweet and welcoming.

This is my favorite coffee café in the neighborhood. The environment is inviting and friendly once you walk through the door. I would always order a large cappuccino or latte with an almond croissant. The pastries always tasted homemade and fresh as well. It was also the first time I tried a "crookie," and it was absolutely delicious, which makes Sandrine stand out from other cafés in Montréal. The manager is super nice and very down to earth as well. 5 stars for my experience at Sandrine ❤️!

What a shame. Quite nice coffee, quality products but everything is really too expensive. Vegetarian sandwich for $20 (solo, without beverage, salad or dessert). Two cookies (delicious but not the biggest you could imagine) for over $10. They are nice but their business does not command such high prices. The business is small, on a side street, the staff is small. I thought I had found my spot for lunch. Too bad, I said.

Very unpleasant experience here. I’ve been here a few times, once to purchase a baguette which I did think was okay. I went again with a friend and the owner was all over us… to a point it was creepy. He asked at least 3 times to leave him a good review. The pastries are very sweet, way too much sugar. And their breakfast pastries are dry. The latte was AWFUL, I basically just tasted sugar. The last time I was there, the owner actually tried to STEAL from me. He had put an additional cost on to my receipt, and then tried to distract me so I would notice. I asked for an itemized receipt and then called him out on it. He then instead of apologizing just shrugged it off and said oh yeah that’s just $5.75, here it is in cash. This to me blew my mind - I was completely thrown off. He should have offered to refund my purchase (I tipped on the amount originally given to me!!!) and he did not consider any of that and just tried to push me out of the store. BEWARE of this behaviour when you visit.

EDIT: the reply by the owner makes it pretty evident the type of establishment they run. No accountability, hostile, and inappropriate. Also such a weird and creepy thing to say about my profile - not professional at all. This place is worse than I thought.
