Great atmosphere, knowledge staff, not the greatest specialty coffee I’ve had in the city, but I haven’t tried everything they have to offer, so I will definitely be coming back.
Update: Second Visit got a Flash Brew Kemex with the Costa Rica black honey coffee, still not the best in the city, but it is definitely up there. The fact that they do full Kemexs means it’s perfect for dates and larger groups. The coffee was expertly brewed and the final cup was refreshing and flavourful.
Good coffee, friendly staff. Nice decore.
I visited back in January and still think about this place fondly. They serve a very tasty mocha and matcha latte. The only downside was the limited seating - since many people come here to be productive, it can be hard to find a spot, especially during the winter months.
Really good quality coffee here. It's a bit small and stuffy to work at, and service is ok, but the coffee is ace!
perfect flat white :)
This is a real coffee place. I’ve been here for only once, and got a very well brewed pour over. I was perfectly listened, heard, and served. Got exactly the right beans that I was looking for. The complexity of the beans was perfectly presented. Will surely come back.
Best place in downtown. Best Go-To spot.
I ordered coffee, but two women who worked laughed about few minutes laughed and ignore my order without do anything even though the espresso was ready. The drink and the atmosphere are good, but the working are so rude.
3.5 espresso is a bit underexrracked.
Perfect place 👌 for coffee. Its my go to place as i love the latte here. They have some amazing bakery items as well . My favorite is scones. They just have perfect lattes and mochas.
The place is usually packed in the evenings but a quiet place to study or work or just have a cup of coffee and relax.
The baristas are also great and welcoming.
Reasonable prices.

Very nice coffee shop right near Concordia U and Shaughnessy village. Also can get a good assortment of Faro roasted coffee beans.
Good coffee but a bit expensive
The coffee and Matcha at Brûlerie FARO was so so good! Our barista was very helpful and helping us select what we should try for the first time and very patient when we were changing options. We came here on the morning of Christmas Eve and there honestly weren’t many people in the coffee shop so it felt like a very quiet and quality experience. Would definitely recommend!
Delicious coffee, great and quick service
The coffee was not bad and the croissant though bread like and not flaky was alright. I felt the service could have been better as the staff there when we visited were not friendly and were more interested in talking to each other than serving us.
