Brasserie 701

We were blown away by our experience at Brasserie 701! Delicious food & drinks and incredibly attentive & friendly staff. We will certainly be back.

French Onion soup was very good. The lamb, beef and chicken was not served hot enough...lukewarm warm. Lacking flavour.

J'ai eu le sentiment de me retrouver dans un restaurant dont la réputation est surfaite. J'y étais dans un contexte d'affaire et j'ai été décue. Les portions étaient correctes sans plus. Rien d'exeptionnel dans l'exécussion des plats, les assiètes sont arrivées tiède. Malgré un achalandage moyen, le service a été d'une lenteur gênante tant pour recevoir nos plats que pour recevoir l'addition. Bref très décue.

Very disappointing, beautiful restaurant, food sub par. Left half of my steak, very tough and for me inedible, waiter said there had been several negative comments during the evening but no compensation

We went for a tasting menu last night and, unfortunately, the service did not meet expectations. It took over 45 minutes just to receive our first course. The second course was even brought to the table before we had been served the first, so it had to be sent back. After that, it took another 15 minutes before the first course finally arrived. The food itself was excellent — no complaints there. However, the service continued to miss the mark. When we ordered a second bottle of wine, the server didn't present it or offer a tasting; it was simply opened and poured directly into our glasses. Overall, great food but very disappointing service. With better attention to timing and proper wine service, the experience could have been much better.

La bouffe fut très excellente mais par contre le service médiocre. On vous apporte la soupe et les escargots sans ustensiles. Nous avons eu besoin de les demandé sans qu'ils réalise que nous l'ai avions pas. Pour le vin, on vous ouvre la bouteille mais plus de service pour le remplissage. On vous serve les assiettes principale et ne vous demande même pas si vous voulez sel et poivre pcq il n'y a pas sur les tables. Pour le remplissage des verres d'eau, encore une fois il faut le demander pcq personne ne regarde les tables. C'est dommage parce que la nourriture fut excellente.

Prices are to high.... Steak frites? That was not a steak it was a « bavette ». À glass of moet & chandon champagne .. 50$... for a glass of a very basic , not so good champagne ? This place has a nice setup, but prices are way too high. Sorry but i am asked for my comments , here they are.

Le steak etait tres gomeux .. frite froide .. la queue de homard pour 32 dollards etait minuscule .. mais par contre le serveur etait bien lequipe lambiance le choix des vins etait genial .. en general setais tres bien mais les plat sont pas trop gros

Toujours une excellente expérience à la brasserie même après plusieurs années sans y être allé

Super restaurant, accueil impeccable. Très bon service au table. Les saveurs étaient au rendez-vous.

We came here for a business meeting as it was within walking distance of the Palais des Congres. I appreciated that despite it being busy, we could still enjoy our conversation comfortably. The service was on-point, and the food was delicious. We were very happy with our experience and would come back if we are ever in Montreal again. Thanks.

went there specifically for the duck comfit eggs benedict to find they were not on the menu. They were listed on your web page and if they are no longer available please update your web page

The food was excellent with incredibly tender beef. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. A lovely evening.

Arrivés à 19h30, commandés à 20h00 et servis à 21h50 Aucune excuse ou compensation. Il y avait un grand groupe dans le restaurant et toutes les assiettes sont sorties avant les nôtres Beau resto( bonne bouffe mais expérience très décevante entre collègues d'affaired qui sont sortis de table beaucoup trop tard!

Always a vibrant atmosphere with great service. Food comes out quickly and waiters are knowledgeable and friendly.
