My girlfriend and I had a date night at Buvette Pastek. Overall, I can highly recommend the restaurant. It's small and intimate with a great wine selection. The food is very good too.

Buvette Pastek is one of Montreal's hidden gems. I'd recommend people go here, but forewarning: you won't want to go anywhere else afterwards. The music, ambience, service, staff, and overall location supersedes any and all bars/restaurants in the city. The owner has done a fantastic job and I couldn't be happier with every experience I've had at the place.

Limited brunch options compared to other places around. The pancakes were really good, but I found them a bit burnt and I found the seats/ layout a bit uncomfortable. Nonetheless the service was good and the pancakes seemed to be their best menu item.
