Nicest service ever, coming back asap! The drinks are amazing.
Love the decor and the staff are so friendly. Not to mention the delicious coffee they roast and brew.

Five stars all around. The coffee was excellent, and I had a plain croissant that was wonderfully flaky and buttery. Coffee is served in very chic cups, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Coffee is really great here and the staff are always kind and welcoming.
However as someone who lives in the neighbourhood and up the street I am so frustrated that this business doesn’t seem to respect their neighbours or care enough to keep the crowds within their property lines. People spill out into the streets and block the sidewalk and bike path at almost all hours of the day. I’ve noticed that other popular businesses in the area will have signs to remind customers to stay within particular limits to respect the neighbourhood but Alphabet, at least as of yet, has not done anything like that. I, and I’m sure other people in the neighbourhood, would be so grateful to see some effort to keep patrons in the business and not blocking the road, side walk and bike path, so that we can live more harmoniously with this cafe as a community.
Edit - I see you’ve updated your reply - that sign is literally barely noticeable, tiny and jammed into a corner that no one is going to see unless they are really looking for it. If you want myself and others to respect this business then make legitimate attempts to respect us! A tiny sign is not a peace offering. I’ve been reading reviews and see the very negative and dismissive way you respond to constructive criticisms and real concerns. It’s very disappointing and does not give credence that you actually care about my review. We BOTH have to earn respect. I updated my review because this business has done nothing to reflect on it genuinely and take it seriously.

Good espresso served hot as it should be. Very crowded. I would recommend if you’re in the area and want a quick espresso but this place is not suitable for meeting up with people due to the crowds. There is seating but staff encourage you to move along to make way for others

Café Alphabet is a very pleasant spot in Montreal. I really liked the atmosphere—it’s welcoming and comfortable, making it a great place. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better.
Most importantly, the coffee was excellent—well prepared and full of flavor. Overall, it’s a very enjoyable café, and I would definitely come back.
