Delicious!
Great restaurant and my favourite tacos in Montreal. Went with a buddy and had a great time.

Honest place. Had a medium vegetarian chili on a Wednesday afternoon of autumn. On point.

Stumbled by this place by accident and it didn’t disappoint! Tried their chicken burrito - it was very large, super fresh and pretty delicious. Excellent value for the money and a healthy food option as it wasn’t greasy or oily. Nice interior too!

3 disgusting, wet and over priced burritos. 50$ are you serious? Also waited over 30 minutes even though I was the only customer in there. Very poor experience unfortunately.
I recommend the Californian salad

Highly recommend their chicken quesadilla supreme and enchilada with salsa verde. Their sides, rice with beans and salad are super good too.

Came in for a quiet lunch on a weekday. The place looks alright, nothing spectacular but not bland either. Service is good enough. But the food just did not impress me. My burrito just lacked punch to the flavour. Maybe some seasoning for the chicken or even some cheese would have gone a long way. Especially considering this came up to $20 with tax & tip. This place is not bad but nothing about it makes me want to return either.

I mainly only had the drinks here. The tequila shots are very reasonably priced and we were offered a higher quality alcohol for the same price when the bottle we had been drinking ran out.
The chips and salsa were disgusting. The salsa tasted of literal vomit and the chips were tasteless. The guacamole was slightly better, but only just.

I always enjoy Mexican food. Of course each place varies in quality but otherwise never disappoints. This cafe Cantina was awesome! The wait might be a little long depending on staff and if it’s very busy but it’s worth the wait for sure! My burrito was quite hefty and very good! I hope to return again soon. Friendly owner too. Works hard. ??

We had dinner on our last evening in Montreal at the Cantina café; our son was 17 years old that day.I think he will remember it for a long time; he loved it and so did we.Everything was perfect.Don’t hesitate to stop there or take a detour if you are staying in Montreal and want to eat Mexican.I imagine that the locals know this address well otherwise I suggest they go there.
