For me, it's simply the best cafeteria. Calm, small, and humble — there's a special charm in its simplicity that makes it truly exceptional. Whether it's the peaceful atmosphere or the genuine warmth of the place, Café Chiado N28 always feels like a quiet escape in the heart of the city. A hidden gem worth cherishing!

Nice staff and good vibe for studying or hanging out, but the tables are sticky and will stick to your sweaters, papers, books, phones. Also, their desserts are literally the ones you get from Costco and resold at a premium, didn't love that.

Magnificent little coffee, Cappuccino with oat milk is excellent, decent espresso. A second floor with a view of the 1st. Cozy and nice. Beaubien never ceases to charm us.

Overall it’s a very nice cafe if you are looking for a spot to study at or simply go with a friend an talk. It’s two floors which kinda cool you don’t see that often with cafes. Food was great, vibe as well the only thing for me was the coffee. It seems like they use a darker roast for their coffee it was quite acidic and not that good when I tried it. Maybe they gave me a bad shot but as a fellow barista there is definitely room for improvement.
