My favorite place for empanadas in Montreal! (and I've tried quite a few places..) Every time I go, it feels like being among friends -- the customers strike up conversations with each other, and the owner is always a pleasure to chat with. It's really a lovely vibe. Oh, and they have a high chair and books for babies!

What a gem! We felt so lucky we randomly stopped by this incredible café for brunch with my friends. It's so welcoming, Anne really is a wonderful woman who teaches us about her cause and shares her story with so much joy. a friendly, community café, the "omelettes" are more like scrambled eggs, mask-wearing by the staff is sloppy, so if you're nervous about Covid, this isn't your place of choice.
The omelet was absolutely delicious and the pancakes were scrumptious. The service was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was 10/10. The outside seating completely enhanced the experience since it was so nice. They also made my omelet with fresh herbs from the garden outside. In addition to this, we were given free sample of hibiscus and ginger tea. Would 100% come again and would recommend others as well!

This place is run by social worker volunteers and all proceeds go to helping refugee women. Its a very quaint inviting decor with a neighborhood garden and bright colors. A variety of homemade, fresh, delicious food such as crepes, empanadas, sandwiches, goods from a local bakery and jams, beverages. The coffee is perfect. The staff is super friendly and enthusiastic, they will basically make whatever you want. And the price is half of other places. You can also buy locally made art, music, etc. We were very happy to eat here and contribute to their cause
