Today was my first and last visit to this business.
What caught my attention was an advertisement they had posted all over town for a three-layered, three-color matcha and strawberry drink.

They gave me a completely green drink. I politely pointed out to the staff that it wasn't what I expected. I requested one like the advertisement, and they agreed to prepare it again. They again gave me a completely green drink, different from the one advertised. The excuse was that they hadn't received any training, only the written recipe. In other words, they were incapable of making the drink as advertised.

I pointed out that it's misleading advertising if they can't give the customer the exact presentation of the advertised product.

I suggested they replace the product with one of their classic bestsellers, but the employee suggested I go somewhere else, since he thought if they made me a different drink, I wouldn't like it either.

I was shocked by this response, so I proceeded with my request for my money back.
I'm a customer service professional, and I explained that he should have given me the option of enjoying another product or a refund. He shouldn't have told me to go somewhere else.

The employee then insisted that he'd sold that product multiple times before and that he wasn't a new employee, seeking to undermine my constructive criticism of the product, whose presentation was completely different from what was advertised. I arrived at CAFÉ DEPOT excited and left disappointed.

The only positive thing to highlight was that they accepted my refund request.

I’ve had the Latte and Mocha, they’re drinkable, not the best. The croissant on the other hand, was literally like a rock, at least 4 days old !! It’s extremely disappointing, shameful and disrespectful to serve such none fresh food to people, I would understand if it was 1 day old max, but it wasn’t eatable at all !! Do you really think we won’t notice ?!
Anyway, never buying anything from them again.

I've had a muffin there twice now and each time it's dry and has no filling inside, which makes me doubt the freshness and quality of their food. The coffee is okay, nothing more. Anyway, it's over for me there.

I go to the café depot 2 mornings a week to have my coffee and lunch. The service is always impeccable and fast. The coffee is excellent and so is the food. Employees remain calm and courteous despite busy and irritable customers who mismanage their time and take out their frustration on employees. Thank you girls for your service and the quality of your drinks, don't let yourself be affected by those who are late, it's not your fault if they mismanage their time. Don't give up on your good work and keep your beautiful smiles :)

Employees needed to ask what we ordered multiple times after we already paid but still managed to get the order wrong. BLT had the saddest single price of lettuce and the barest amount of bacon. Filtered coffee was very weak. Two stars cause it was edible. Won't be going back.
