The restaurant was full when I arrived without a reservation on a rainy evening but James the maître d made sure I stayed to wait for a table to become free asap. When it did, Lisa my highly efficient and caring waitress and responsive James placed me at a great table to enjoy the restaurant’s well prepared traditional offerings. It turned out to be an enjoyable and delicious dinner. Thank you James and thank you Lisa.

Very cute spot, they have a cute outside seating. Our Waitress was really nice.
The sommelier was very nice aswell and knew what to recommend us.

The worst dining experience I’ve ever had in Montreal. I paid nearly $200 for two people, and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. When I asked about vegetarian options, the completely unprofessional waiter recommended a soup—only for me to realize after a few bites that it contained chicken broth. When I asked him, he casually said, “Yes, sometimes they add chicken broth,” without even an apology. I’ve been strictly vegetarian for 14 years, and this was the first time a restaurant has served me meat without warning or remorse.
The soup, lasagna, and spaghetti were all awful, greasy, and poorly prepared. The wine was cheap and overpriced, another insult to an already miserable experience.
Avoid this place at all costs. It’s expensive, careless, and utterly disrespectful to its customers.

Food was excellent, the pastas all came with an appetizer. I loved my fettuccine and all my friends liked their food. Would recommend the fettuccine and bolognese.
James our server was so sweet and accommodating. He turned an extra heater on for us. And at the end he gave complimentary desserts!! Thanks James!!!!

It was a nice experience that atmosphere was really on top but when we ask the waitress to change our plate and bring the balsamic she forgot so we had to ask another waiter to give us that service. The food was good but I prefer more cream in the pasta and fettuccine sauce, which was feeling a bit more dry in the seafood fettuccine plate. Everything was great: food, service( had a great waiter), the courtyard. However, how can such a lovely restaurant, downtown, have less than a 3-star bathroom? Some of the decor feels a little tired, but a visit to the restroom made me feel a bit.... Icky.

My friends and I were able to visit for dinner and it was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Our server James was amazing and made time for us even while busy and went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. The food was delicious, every single dish was loved by everyone at the table. The courtyard is beautiful and makes the whole experience even better. Would highly recommend this place and we are looking forward to visiting again on our next trip!

we came in for dinner during our trip and it was an amazing experience. not only were the staff super accommodating to us being late for our reservation, our server james was amazing and every plate of food was a 10/10 and that’s not an exaggeration. they made something as simple as a caesar salad so elevated that it was easily the best i’ve had. if you’re visiting or live in the area you need to come here

The food here is excellent - authentic Italian food in the heart of downtown Montreal. My table was in the terrace and on a warm evening, it was lovely to enjoy the atmosphere.
The service was good - friendly but not overly involved. The wine list is excellent and varied, catering for all budgets. I would definitely return.
