My kids and I were very happy here! A great bagel and cream cheese; a massive Nutella banana crepe, and a fantastic cajun beef and pepper baguette sandwich. Easy, quick, and very yummy.

This was my first visit and the staff could not be nicer or friendlier. My espresso was smooth, albeit a tad weak. I ordered the special cream of pistachio crepe and it was delicious. Service was a bit slow but the staff delivered the food to our table and they were most accommodating.

The wait was a bit long for two meals (around 30 min) but it was so worth it! I got the crepe with eggs, cheese and ham (can’t remember the actual name) and I finished every last bit of it. There was also what I think was fresh pesto on the dish that paired deliciously with the crepe. I’m not from Montreal but if I ever visit again soon I’ll definitely come back!

The food here was amazing! We stayed for 4 days in Montreal and we had our breakfast here 3/4 days becasue it was so good, not to mention the freshly made specialty coffees too! They also have a very diverse menu so you can eat here all week and try something new every day! The real standout here is the service, although I am a novice french speaker, the staff happily encouraged me to try and order in french and they were so kind! They always make sure you have a table to sit at when your food is ready. It seemed this restaurant was loved by travelers and locals and I totally understand why, highly recommend!

I had a croissant that was perfectly flaky and buttery pure heaven! The cozy vibe and friendly staff made it the ideal way to start the day. Definitely a place I’d return to again and again.
Unfortunately, my experience at Café Lulu didn’t meet expectations. The latte was quite ordinary and lacked flavor. What really stood out in a negative way was that the spoon and mug didn’t seem properly clean, which made the experience feel unpleasant. To make matters worse, the edge of the mug was chipped, something that shouldn’t be overlooked in any café.
On a positive note, the croissant was fresh. but overall, the visit didn’t leave a good impression. I was expecting more, especially given the café’s reputation.
