The coffee was good, but the small size is very small. Slightly larger than a juice box and it was $4.50. The pistachio croissant was delicious and very filling. Also about $4.50. A lot of their stuff did not have pricing so you had to ask the staff multiple times for different prices of pastries/merchandise but they were patient and answered all my questions. The Mordatella sandwich was so yummy! Pistachio bomboloni was heavenly! Tea with milk was way above expectations. This cafe was worth waiting in line for. Highly recommend this gem of a cafe and we will be back when we visit Montreal next time!
The owner is friendly and the tiramisu is delicious!
However, the service from the bright-haired male employee, who was not the owner, was a bit poor. He told my friend and I to bring our own drinks and desserts, but as I watched, I saw that he also told the other Asian customers the same thing and personally brought them to the Western customers one by one. I am not very happy because I feel there is a difference in service depending on certain races.
