Came for my birthday but left before our meals because the server was so rude and kept ignoring us. Didn't serve us even water for 20 minutes and we missed the lunch menu because of that. It was a weekday and wasn't busy. Used to be my favorite cafe to bring friends to now I'll never go back. So so so disappointed.

I regret having to share a recent disappointing experience regarding this restaurant that I really enjoyed:- Espresso Martini Size: Unfortunately, the size of my espresso martini was really disappointing, well below my expectations, not even filling half of a standard glass.- High background noise (upstairs): The high noise level in the restaurant made it difficult to have a conversation without having to raise your voice.In conclusion, despite the quality of the dishes and attentive service from Hector, my recent visit to this restaurant was below my expectations. I sincerely hope that these issues will be resolved to improve the customer experience.Best regards.

However, my experience was significantly marred by the customer service provided. My order for a pizza was burned, leading to a situation where everyone else at my table received their meals except me. When I inquired about my order, the server seemed puzzled and needed to check on it, only to return with the news that my pizza had burned and another was being prepared. This meant I had to watch others eat while waiting for my meal, which negatively impacted my dining experience. Moreover, the server's initial lack of awareness that my order was missing and the subsequent lack of proactive communication regarding the delay were disappointing. Effective customer service would entail informing me of the issue with my order in advance, allowing for a decision on whether to proceed with serving the rest of the table.Additionally, the restaurant did not attempt to rectify the situation or extend any gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience caused. Upon presenting the bill, I expressed my dissatisfaction, particularly regarding being charged full price despite the oversight on their part. The server's response, questioning if I would prefer a burned pizza, came off as dismissive and rude.Overall, due to the subpar customer service and lack of attention to client care, I cannot recommend this establishment.

A favorite atmosphere and food!A perfect place for a friendly or romantic date, subdued atmosphere with all the wooden decorations and plants.Recommendation: shrimp pizza and Neapolitan salad, we were able to share it between two and it was more than enough.Tip: book in advance, the place is very busy.

Discovering Destinations
We tried to visit this restaurant during the summer, and we were turned away because the restaurant was full. That being said, we took a chance when we returned for a breakfast brunch. Upon arrival, we were asked if we had a reservation which we said no. This time they did not turn us away they brought us upstairs to the second level and sat on what they call a communal table which would be shared with other groups if they arrived without reservations as well. we were fine with this option so we decided to stay. we ordered the pizza and the crispy pork belly as well as a latte and Americano. The service was good. We really like the interior vibe and decor. There is a constant humming of people talking and the energy is quite impressive. Although we would’ve liked our own table, the communal table served its purpose. we enjoyed our meal and we would definitely return to see what else they have on the menu. That is tasty and delicious.The restaurant is a little difficult as the street is under some sort of major renovation . With respect to Parking, keep in mind, your downtown Montreal so either try to find some street parking which is paid unless on a Sunday before noon it’s free. Otherwise if you’re planning on spending the day, consider finding a paid parking lot.Parking: At the time we visited the restaurant which is beginning of winter 2023 the street which the restaurant is located on was under major renovations, which means if that’s still the case you will need to try to find parking on the street a little further

Great discovery of this restaurant, a little out of the way but definitely worth the detour! Pleasant decor, interesting and diverse menu, tasty food. In addition, the server was attentive to our needs and welcomed us warmly. Very much enjoyed our experience, we will return!
