Great for a quick slice of pizza, drink or a coffee. Not too many places to sit and place seems to be always crowded, but it’s worth a visit if in the hood.

It's basically like being in Italy. Have a seat at the bar, enjoy a coffee, a nice slice of pizza and finish off with their delicious sweets. Do yourself a favor and walk in hungry!

Absolute Gem! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, or off the menu ;)
Porchetta focaccia was delicious, with lots of meat and a little mayo sauce

Sunday brunch, Italian edition 🇮🇹🍕☕️
Three slices, one cappuccino, and four self-declared travel experts planning their third “once-in-a-lifetime” trip to Italy. 😏

Great service all day long.
Roman style square pizza with a great variety of fresh toppings. I love the thinly sliced potato topped slabs.
The lemon-basil Gelato is particularly refreshing.
Pistachio bomboloni is delish and decadent.

I’ve visited Café San Gennaro twice now, and both times were delightful experiences. Their pizza was tasty, but the real standout was their cannolis (the shell was perfectly crisp, while the filling was smooth, creamy, and just the right level of sweetness). All the flavors balanced beautifully, making it one of the best cannolis I’ve had.
The latte was also well made, and overall, the prices felt fair for the quality you get. The only downside is that seating can be limited, especially during peak hours, so timing your visit matters.
What really adds to the experience is the friendly and welcoming staff, who make you feel right at home. If you’re looking for a cozy café with great Italian treats, Café San Gennaro is definitely worth a visit!

They need to update the menu on their wall. Even their staff is confused by the pricing of the items. It wasn't fun to be charged more than what I expected. I was told that I still had to pay for the drink in full or have something at the price I expected to pay, even though it was already made, and they could have the drink themselves. It's not a huge deal, but it comes off as disorganized.
