It really makes all the difference, so much so that even if I have a coffee machine at home, I still love to make an excuse to go there. The apricot croissant is my favorite pastry ever. Great cardamom bun too and yummy espresso. Baristas are super friendly and the atmosphere is gorgeous. Honestly an oasis being just off of the busy Ste Catherine!

I checked out a really interesting place—Shaughnessy Café at 1455 Rue Lambert-Closse, Montreal, Quebec H3H 1Z5! This is a super cozy café, tucked away in the basement. It has lots of tables, and while it's not huge, it creates a really cool, productive vibe. It's popular with people who come to work, study, and just hang out. As for the main event, the pastries here are absolutely top-notch! 🥐 They are always fresh and so delicious—you have to try them. The coffee is amazing: strong, aromatic, and perfectly roasted. It's the perfect boost of energy! ☕ The staff is super friendly and always happy to help. 😊 It's an excellent place that I happily recommend to everyone!

Excellent (albeit super tiny) cappuccino. However, the almond croissant was the worst ever croissant created. Soggy, no taste of almonds, no difference between crust and filling....and all this after asking if the croissant was fresh... I don't want to imagine what was a not fresh croissant. With that, the salmon sandwich that my spouse had was great. Her espresso was also very good.

I’ve been this place a few times to buy beans and they have great selection. However recently I ordered a cold brew and waited 8 people in front of me. Cold brew should be premade and super fast. But I waited, I thought barista is taking time to make it. But it turned out that they missed. No serious apologies. Very dispointed. Would want to sit down and enjoy the coffee but didn’t have any mood anymore. Bye
