I ordered a large matcha latte, expecting something simple and refreshing. Instead, I received a mix of milk, water, and sugar. no real matcha in sight. I calmly explained the issue and politely asked if it could be remade or refunded. Rather than doing either, they decided to “fix” it by adding more matcha… which overflowed everywhere. I stood there, watching green foam cascade across the counter like a tiny latte disaster, and not a single person offered to help.
The staff seemed confused, the manager uninterested, and the whole thing felt like a live demonstration of how not to handle customer service.
And the smell… oh, the smell. Imagine if someone bottled the essence of a public washroom on a humid day and called it “Eau de Café.” That’s the aroma that greets you the moment you walk in. I genuinely thought something had spilled… maybe it had, years ago! and was just never cleaned up. It’s the kind of smell that makes you question your life choices while you wait for your drink that never quite becomes a drink.

Saturday morning, almost empty, no waiting. The employee was super polite eventhough I had to switch to english to order. Good was fresh, vanilla latte was perfect! À bit pricey though 30$ for two lattes and two croissants.

Fresh coffee, espresso .
I went in and ordered a latte and croissant and the lady scoffed at me because I wanted to pay with cash.
I ordered a scone and a matcha latte, and to my surprise, the scone had mold on it! That’s completely unacceptable. It makes me question the overall quality and safety of their food. On top of that, I asked for specific modifications to my drink but they were completely ignored. It’s frustrating when you make an effort to communicate your preferences only to have them overlooked. This experience has left a bad impression and I won’t be returning.
10$ for half of a grilled cheese and bacon. HALF. And they can't even cook the bacon properly. Don't waste your money there; there is plenty of other places around to get a simple sandwich.

Disappointed the peach matcha drink was overly sweet and did not taste like matcha at all... Service is okay? The place is very empty, which makes you wonder what's wrong with it...

Overall 1 star because of bad service.
The lights turned off at 7 without any warning. And it says it closes at 8 on the sign.

Usually do not leave reviews, but this was just awful. This was the first time in a while I treated myself to a smoothie from a restaurant and I should’ve seen the signs:
- flies in the baked goods area
- buckets of water from water coming out of the ceilings
- poor customer service
I am writing this from the hospital as I have contracted E. coli from this place and have been having diarrhea for the past three weeks!
This place should be closed! Debating on suing!

Nice spot on St. Catherine street to quickly grab coffee. It would be great to see vegan baked goods being offered. I didn't see any vegan foods while I was there.

decaf latte coffee: with the powders, but no taste! worse than instant coffee! this explains why fewer customers. To save time not to go further to Starbucks, ultimately I wasted the money
