A friendly lady greeted me. The chocolate croissant and Mocha was a great option for this time of the year.

They remove the breakfast items at 9:00 am. Apparently the employees think people want a lunch at 9:00 am which makes no sense. Why would they remove the breakfast sandwiches so early instead of keep making sales?

Typical you’d expect coffee shops to have soggy sandwiches or old and dry bread but i was very suprised with the food quality. This place is not like that at all with good food and good drinks. Very solid def recommended especially being a very picky person. Great service from the guy.

Nicest staff of all coffee shops we visited during our Montreal trip. Very welcoming and great service.

Café Van Houtte is a cozy spot to enjoy a coffee or pastry. The atmosphere is warm, and the staff is friendly. They offer a variety of drinks and baked goods, making it a nice place to relax. The food was fresh and tasty.

The only guy working on the weekends knows the taste of coffee. He make such good coffee. I tried London Fog this time & my husband his usual Vanilla Latte.

Good coffee and bread, very good for a light breakfast, but they do not have large portions, everything is small but delicious. Very central, close to NotreDame. Filtered coffee, banana pancake and yogurt are recommended.

I ordered the new tiramisu iced coffee it was so sugary I couldn’t drink it, and I’m American born and raised. these types of heavy handed sweet drinks are causing illness and mental imbalance from the damage that excessive processed sugars can bring. Attention and change should be brought to this culture, and at $8 I’d expect more care.

terrible experience! the toilet was clogged and water was overflowing on the floor, half of the seating area was closed, the grill to heat up sandwiches wasn't working therefore my sandwich was tough to eat and I didn't enjoy it. overall nothing good to say about this place.

The Vanhoutte café offers a very interesting choice of hot and cold beverages, salads, sandwiches, healthy options with chia seed yogurts. Everything is delicious and good value for money. But the positive experience ends there! because the customer service is unfortunately poor, we were refused access to the toilets even though we had dinner there, the attendant told us in a very unpleasant tone that the downstairs room was closed and that we had nothing to do downstairs. we went to the Mc Do toilets and had a dessert there. I don't blame the Vanhoutte brand because the products are very good. They should just choose their staff better in the meantime, I don't would not recommend this place at all and the cleanliness of the tables really needs to be reviewed. We also had to wait for the 2 waitresses to finish their conversation before they deigned to take our order.
