I ordered a ham and Brie sandwich and I got food poisoning.. just be careful what you order there and make sure it’s fresh. I really liked the place now I’m not to sure… it’s disappointing

Was early for work decided to have an extra breakfast. Great place to wait and have a coffee. Spacefull, peacefull cafe. Great service, great food, great place. Quiet place in a very busy city intersection. Recommended for sure.

i have been going to this location since 2021 but never had the chance to make a review. well here it is. this is the best location for cafe van houtte in ALL of montreal. the sweet asian couple manage and make the food beautifully! so fresh and always kind and hospitable.

This cafe offers a cozy, inviting atmosphere, perfect for both relaxing and working. I visited with a friend, enjoying the calm vibes and soothing background music as we worked and sipped on coffee.

I tried a long espresso, Nutella croissant, and a carrot cake square in honor of National Carrot Cake Day. The espresso was rich and smooth, with a well-balanced flavor and a nice crema. The Nutella croissant was light, flaky, and generously filled with creamy Nutella, making it a delicious, sweet treat. However, the real star was the carrot cake square—moist, spiced perfectly, and topped with a tangy cream cheese frosting that was not too sweet, offering the perfect balance of flavors.

The cafe itself was relaxing, with a warm atmosphere and friendly service. It’s a great spot to unwind, work, or enjoy a tasty treat, and I’ll definitely be back.

The best location of Van Houtte. Best service - consistently friendly and welcoming. Always clean. Nice selection of food and treats to choose from.

It's a perfect place to enjoy a sandwich, coffee and dessert. Yes, it's a bit expensive, but if you want to eat healthy, it's the best option

2stars for 2reasons:First, I asked the "barista" it's my first time here, please make the espresso good,she replied with "it's just the way it is".Second, "the way it is" was a single shot of 80 to 100ml.

Small place to eat quickly. The sandwiches are good and there is a good choice of desert.
