Peking Garden is one one of the oldest Canadian Chinese restaurants still in existence. I was a bit hesitant to try seeing some other reviews, but I took the plunge and ordered takeout. Pros: Very nice, large (yet intimate) interior Extensive list of menu options, although oddly enough, very few pork dishes They have a user-friendly website for ordering takeout (impressive as many of their competitors don't) I ordered the Shanghai combo for two; Everything was decent (Peking beef, Peking fried rice, General Tao chicken, spring rolls, Hot and Sour soup) but nothing stood out; I still think Kam Shing makes the best General Tao and Chef Foo the best fried rice Cons: Apart from the combos, dish prices are relatively more expensive than other similar restaurants
