Great restaurant for dine in or take out. Their chicken is great, of course, but don’t overlook their excellent seafood!
I had the grilled sardine appetizer and the grilled calamari appetizer and they both came with a generous and tasty salad. This place is definitely worth more than one visit!

Very amical place with a good choice of food. Its a good place to try portuguese food in the sector. The price are ok. You are paying the right price. Will come back. Beware, it can be crounded

Was there a couple of weeks ago and ordered 1/2 a chicken and a plate of calamares. Chicken was very good, the fries were exceptional, the sauce was top notch. would've wanted cole slaw instead of a normal salad. Cole slaw and BBQ chicken, always goes well together . Calamares was ok, found that the batter was to thick. A lighter batter would've been better. Portions are very generous. Will definitely go back for the chicken.

The food is very good, but the service is very bad. You ask them something and they just twist their faces and get angry for asking them something.

I'm shocked at how this place has changed. There is no service, you have to go get your water from a shared jug even. I had to go get my drinks and pack my left overs as well. The food quality was also not good. Very disappointing - wouldn't go back.

We ordered grilled chicken and potatoes to take out, along with some pastéis de nata and everything was delicious, the spicy sauce was amazing.

Freshly bad experience!!!!! Firstly, when ordering, we misunderstood what the cashier had told us and she offered to refund us but we decided to keep the 2 drinks in question. Second arrival in the dining room I find it very strange that the cooks eat with us according to month he should have their space to eat, during my visit the cooks were sitting behind us and listening to everything we said I we knew that one of the employees came to see us about the double charged drink but it was our decision to keep both instead of being refunded... And let's talk about the food, too bad but we had not like it at all.... I know it better as a Portuguese place.

We have known Cantinho for 30 years, we really liked its beginnings, small friendly place, eventually it expanded, the food was as good as before and the atmosphere was okay, we went back today for the first time since the pandemic, what a disappointment! They transformed this charming Portuguese restaurant into a fast food restaurant, no more table service, and only reheating, and it was difficult to find a table that wasn't shaking! We will definitely not go back there again!! Too bad because it has lost its cachet!

I was very disappointed with our breast portions which seemed more like thighs. The chicken was cold and the sauce is not what it once was. The pasteis de nata, the dough was soft and the taste questionable. Unfortunately, the concept and version before the fire was much better. Very disappointed and I do not recommend... The cafeteria format is not what I expected and the service was fast and under pressure to sell... Too bad!
