Not sure what happened to this place and their menu, not sure why this place gets 4.3* on Google. Pre-covid this was a staple for ordering good Portuguese chicken and other delicacies. Went back just recently with a group of six for supper and we all walk away disappointed. Their chicken, lamb, cod platters were dry, overcooked, and their minced cod platter was bathing in grease. I understand they re-opened after brief shutdown. Definitely not what it used to be. No longer a go to place for Portuguese fare for use.

Same marinate for the two appetizers that I had. There is no grill octopus here !
I don’t call this place a Portuguese restaurant.

The poutine with Portuguese chicken is delicious. Some of the best Portuguese chicken in Montreal! I recommend getting the spicy sauce with it!

Uber Eats order- No comment on atmosphere or service.
I got the half chicken meal which came with a generous selection of three sides as opposed to the typical two, nice variety too. The potatoes were nice but not the particular style I was hoping for, don't think it was worth the extra $2.25, should be same price as other sides IMO. Chicken was delectable but hardly saucy. Overall this was a huge meal and I actually had enough for a whole plate the next day which is rare for me. Great value and quality just beat out by other competitors in the category I know of in the Plateau.

Would not recommend. Food is not good quality. Service was poor (we ordered two meals, and they messed up both of them), and atmosphere/decor was lacking. There are much better Portuguese restaurants with much better food than this place.

I came here for my sons baptism and the staff is very nice but we were disappointed with the food. It wasn't as good as it used to be, their octopus was so bad and other food was completely tasteless. I found out after that they changed chef. They should really change chef again or get the old one back because he or she is not very good.

I had the best Morue Emietee . The service was excellent young man that serviced us very polite and super polite ILYES . Thé place super clean. The final touch one of the owner came to see us . Thé real way a restaurant should be . Wonderful Lunch and pleasant place.
