This used to be the best rotisserie chicken in Montreal but they are the clearest example of shrinkflation I've come across. They raised their prices and reduced the size of their chickens drastically. I had the half chicken dinner and a coke - the half chicken was so small it was the size of a chicken breast, a handfull of fries, half a bun for $38. Not going back. So sad.

This is the best chicken in the city!! Menu is so simple as the only thing they sell is chicken. Staff is super friendly!!! Building is very old it has character!!

Always a nostalgic meal at Chalet Bar-B-Q, a must-visit when we return home for comforting and familiar Montreal food, along with smoked meat and bagels, of course! The decor is dated but that is what makes it so charming. Chicken is always perfectly cooked – they are the only ones in Montreal still allowed to use charcoal, and their's is red cherrywood. It complete elevates the chicken. French fries are plentiful and perfect, especially with their nonstop supply of sauce. I want to also mention Tina, our server, who is joy personified and the most attentive waitperson imaginable. She took the best possible care of us and we left with full bellies and smiles on our faces.
