After being a more than loyal customer for over 45 years and calling it the best chicken in the whole world, I happened to order from a nearby motel and got an entirely different and completely disillusioning experience. The chicken leg was small, had no skin on it at all and was fat and grizzle laden. The half bun was not even complete, it had a piece missing and appeared to have been plucked from a garbage bin and tossed on top.
Worst of all were the fries which were obviously old and re-used. Time to make the delivery could not suffice as excuse for the texture of those fries. They were re-used fries. They were something less than warm, hard and dry to the point of sawdust on the interior.
It was just an awful experience! It will be a long time before I forget such an abysmal experience. I am not only disappointed but disgusted that they would serve what they delivered to me to anyone. The only thing that tasted remotely familiar or was of the quality I had come to expect from a lifetime of patronage of them was the coleslaw.
They obviously imagined that I was a visitor from out of town, a one-time customer, they could serve what belonged in their trash to and get away with it.
They have not only lost my patronage but my respect.

Ok guys. Been going here for years. Always great. Went there tonight and the service we got from Tina was absolutely exceptional. What a wonderful lady, so full of joy and just a fantastic women in general. Way way way above and beyond. Managers,owners, anyone of authority, give this women a raise she absolutely deserves it!

Alright, I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chalet BBQ, and may I say… it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, Steve and Catherine made us feel right at home with their warm hospitality. The atmosphere was cozy and the chalet of your grandparents, perfect for a relaxed meal.
Now, let's talk about the food… absolutely incredible! The chicken was perfectly cooked, bursting with original, authentic flavor, and the poutine was equally delicious. I honestly, highly recommend you all go eat their signature, slow cooked chicken, you won't be disappointed!
What really stood out was the attention to detail and the passion they put into their cooking. Steve and Catherine truly care about their patrons and it shows in every aspect of the dining experience.

Chicken is not bad! Soup is horrible! You’re paying 4.95 for hot water 5 noodles with 3 carrots AND NO CHICKEN! This place was good 20 years ago when it was 5$ a meal ! Its not worth 1 dollar more !

The best rotisserie chicken. This place is the OG of chalet style chicken. The gravy/chicken sauce is so good it’s drinkable. And the coleslaw is so amazing because the cabbage is perfectly sliced and not weird little pieces, it’s like lace. Can’t say enough about this place. Forget st-Hubert and forget Swiss chalet. This is the place!!
