Chez Delmo is a ontreal institution and true destination for seafood. The lobster bisque was great testing and with good pieces of lobster perfectly cooked (could have been a bit warmer). The lobster thermidor was outstanding. Always wonderful experience.

Lovely seafood restaurant has a great history close to Old Montreal. Starting from friendly welcoming, nice story of the interiors, comforting soups for appetizers and a full list of delicious seafood meals. Highly recommend for any celebrations. A big shoutout for our server, Jorden for great survive tonight. Can’t wait to come back!

The restaurant is centrally located in old Montreal and is a nice setting. Prices are what you would expect from a high end restaurant. Overall the service and atmosphere was good. I ordered a rock crab dish and the server let me know that it was hot, and added “you can't send it back”. I let him know that I'm fine with hot food and ordered it. When we got the food, the flavour of my rock crab dish was overwhelming just chilli peppers and was very hot. When we finished the meal I made a comment to the server that the chef needs to decide if they're just doing a chilli pepper challenge or if they're trying to accentuate the flavour of the crab. The response was “the morning chef knows that he messed up”. This tells me that they knew the dish wasn't up to par and they continued to serve it even though it really wasn't very good. That's super disappointing and says a lot about how they approach quality. No apologies, no discount. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Une expérience au souper moins réussie qu'au diner. Bien dans l'ensemble, mais pour le prix je ferais tout de même deux critiques: il y avait des éclats de coquilles dans les huitres et surtout la sauce homardine des raviolis était extrêmement salée au point où nous avons retourné le plat qui nous a été resservi sans la sauce... il nous a semblé que la solution n'était pas à la hauteur de ce qui était faisable. Mais le service du serveur était impeccable
I came to get a little drink with my friend and the service was excellent. What was initially a little detour to get a glass of wine ended up being a wholesome experience!! The owner Benoit offered us a warm welcome. Our waiter mandjou kept us entertained with the history of the establishment, the barman Jordan served us wonderful glasses and made insane cocktails. The runner Cedric was extremely polite and it showed that this restaurant is filled with professionals I love it!
