Tried the double cheese burger. It was fine but expensive and in the end I didn't like it very much, it felt just like a brick of calories with no flavor contrast or texture contrast to me. Maybe all that cheese fusing the meat together didn't help. Maybe I'm just not really into smash burgers.
Premium old school dîner vibes where high quality well made food meet their higher than average asking prices.

Chez Tousignant nails that nostalgic Montreal casse-croûte vibe, right down to the retro counter and classic menu. The hamburgers and poutine are seriously delicious—comfort food done right. While the prices are a bit on the high side for what you get, the overall experience makes it worth it. A great spot when you're craving that old-school diner feel with quality eats.
