We ordered a steak and a burger, both came with fries. The amount of fries was excessive compared to the size of both the steak and burger. Should be called "fries with steak" not the other way around 😅

I went to Victoire for the first time last night with friends and I was very disappointed with my experience. The service was very hasty and lacked warmth. A friend and I ordered the chanterelles as a starter and both had the same conclusions. The mushrooms were burnt leaving a very bitter taste. It really wasn't successful. The rest of the meal was nothing more and lacked flavor. I mentioned to the person taking care of our table that the chanterelle starter was just not good, maybe our plates had been messed up, that could happen. But no return or gesture from him, very cold response. She even coldly corrected my friend when he mentioned the possible presence of sour cream in the starter.
Special mention, however, for the person behind the bar, the cocktails were delicious and his service was perfect and full of kindness!

A mixed experience: good food, but very very very disappointing atmosphere and service

When I visited this restaurant, I had high expectations, but the overall experience was very disappointing. Let's start with the positive: the food is undeniably well prepared, with the right flavors and careful presentations. The cocktails were also nice and well balanced.

However, everything quickly went downhill due to the cold and noisy atmosphere, as well as expeditious and impersonal service. As soon as I arrived, I was handed the menu as soon as I sat down, and asked to make my choice of dishes immediately after ordering a cocktail. This set the tone for the rest of the meal: no attention to my pace or comfort.

The starter was served to me even though I had only taken a few sips of my cocktail. Pass again. But as soon as the starter was finished, the waitress already brought the glass of wine to accompany the main course, even though my cocktail was far from finished. When I pointed out to her that the service was too fast, she replied that she had no choice because of the imminent arrival of the "second tables".

This blatant lack of consideration for customers and this "business" atmosphere where you feel pressured to eat quickly and leave completely ruined the experience. Despite the quality of the food, I can't recommend a place where you feel like a number rather than a guest. I won't go back there.

I recently visited this restaurant and found the overall experience to be decent. The main course was the highlight — I tried the beef, which was exceptionally tender and flavorful. However, the starters and desserts were just average. The service was great, and we opted for the wine tasting menu, which was also fairly average. We took advantage of a discount through the MTL à Table app, which made it more reasonably priced. However, without the discount, I’d consider it a bit overpriced for the quality.

The starters were very successful but the dishes ordinary.
The marrow bone was supposedly giant but with 1/2 spoon of marrow inside whereas a long cut normally allows for quality control in the kitchen.

The most annoying thing is the waiting time between each dish and the maître d' who has an answer for everything (borderline condescending).

The sommelier is great on recommendations.

For the price, you can really find better at every level on the board.

We didn't have dessert because more than 2 hours for 2 starters and 2 main courses is too long.

I had dinner at this restaurant for my birthday and we opted for the tasting menu. It was simply delicious! The products were fresh and each dish was prepared with care, everything being very tasty.

The server gave us very good advice and helped make this experience enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for a great evening in Montreal!

I couldn't say anything better about my experience in this restaurant than: God Damn! On the bright side, of course?. The decoration and ambiance give this place a nice little beauty and it is easily accessible from Mount Royal.

My favorite in the restaurant given the view I could have had of the open bar and kitchen watching the maestros do their art. Thanks chefs! And the service team was super synchronized and the experience was pleasant to see and receive.?

.Bread and butter were my little guilty pleasure. I was able to eat the dish of the day: Tuna bull with corn and ponzu sauce. OMG! The flavors were harmonized and it didn't take very long to finish it. Sorry no photos taken. Deliciously savored! ?

The wine choices were excellent and tasty. The sorbet at the end of the meal was delicious, the final element.?

I will go back without hesitation and I suggest a detour… PS I suggest the table d’hôte for a greater taste experience ??

In my opinion, one of the best restaurants in Montreal, high-end cuisine in a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. All the dishes are good, the only restaurant that can make me eat things that I don't like and that I will like. A must, the tomato salad with mozzarella mousse.

We had the tasting menu with food and wine pairing. It was good. Beautiful atmosphere, beautiful terrace. Our waitress was lovely.
The risotto was too lemony and the cauliflower plate didn't impress me. Otherwise, all other dishes were good. The tuna tartare was divine.
