Classic cantine food, I would say one of the best poutine in Montreal. Fries are crispy and sauce is quite unique

Found this place after moving in the neighborhood and I come here from time to time.Just taking a table next to the window makes me feel on those typical tv shows where you have your local dining with a very friendly environment. It is remarkable how all the staff makes everybody feel welcome as family, some people arriving are acquaintances, some others just usual customers. You see them greeting people by name and even hugs for old friendships, which gives me a total warmth feeling as if I was just at home having breakfast. This has already become my favorite place to have a comfy breakfast while reading at my table and feeling “at home”.
The service is slow and the contents on the lunch plates are quite small. Not the best coffee. I was still hungry when I left there!

A good old dinner! Bring some change, it's just in cash.
This place was on our neigborhood favorite list, however we went on a Monday morning, not busy at all, and it seemed the staff was more concerned with cleaning than actually serving. Took 10 minutes to get menues, my husband had to walk to the kitchen to get condiments he had asked for, we had to get the waitress' attention to fill up our already cold/ empty coffee mugs. Very disapointing. At these prices I'd rather go to the competition, pay a little more and at least get better service.

Great place
Always good
Been going the better part of 20 years and still never disappoints. Owners and staff are great and the food is really good.
Firstly it's New Canada the exact translation lolĺl and Costa was still as friendly and attentive as usual. Still as good except for a small downside for the fries, for the first time in my life the fries were not cooked enough but we still loved it.
The best poutine in town and the hot dogs humm?
