Generous portion of crispy fried chicken

Intara Tanlamai

This used to be our favorite place that we go every month but suddenly, they changed their menu and the dishes were a lot different. The fried chicken portion was smaller than before and they increased the price as well. We normally order Supreme with the Korean red sauce but this last round the sauce tastes almost exactly like ketchup.

Now, if I would choose KFC over than this place

The tteokbokki ingredients were weird and the portion was less than before.

We used to love their fried chicken skin and corn cheese that were reasonably priced but they totally removed those items from the menu.

In the past, I would recommend this to everyone as the e best fried chicken in MTL. Now, I will not go there anymore unless they change back to the way before.

They completely changed the menu.

Everything has changed the flavours - fried chicken, hotpot, fries… it tastes way worse than previous dishes.

The only thing good is the service.

Plus the portion becomes smaller. We won’t come again :(.

A bit of a disappointing experience.
We ordered truffle fries and boneless honey butter chicken. The fries were not homemade, lukewarm, and tasted nothing like truffle, instead it tasted only pamassan. We told the waiter and they gave us another fries plate, this time pretty hot without truffle flavor but it’s still appreciated. And the honey butter chicken tasted really good with the sauce, just too much crispy with not enough chicken. It’s the second time I visit there, again a bit disappointed. Btw, the dished takes a looooooong time 30 minutes for just fries and 1 hour for the fried chicken and it’s noisy.

We visited this restaurant with three people. Two of us ate the salad, and both of us became very sick afterwards. Last night I had a stomachache and diarrhea, and the same thing continued this morning. My friend had similar symptoms.

My wife, who is pregnant, did not eat the salad and felt fine. That makes it very clear the problem came from the salad, which was not properly cleaned. Although pregnant women are advised to be careful with raw food, if the vegetables are truly fresh and safe, there should not be a problem. I am very lucky I did not let my wife eat this salad, because it could have been extremely dangerous for her.

Food safety should be taken seriously, especially when serving raw vegetables. This experience was very uncomfortable and unacceptable.

Excellent fried chicken and chicken feet. With pineapple soju and beer, it’s amazing! But the music is a bit too loud so not perfect for conversations.

Everytime I go the food is very good. The fried chicken with thicker sauces are always the best (e.g. yangnyeom and Supreme). They come in 8 pieces per plate. The powdered chicken and honey butter are a little dry, so not my favorites. The soft pork intestines were also tasty, but too spicy for me despite the menu saying it wasn't (I'm with spice normally).

The bathrooms are always clean and the vibe is great. Service is a little slow (water, bill, limited on free pickled radishes), but ok if you want to chat longer (they'll still ask you to leave if you stay too long, but that's reasonable in my opinion since it was a busy). No need for appetizers since the 8 chicken will be very filling already.

Would come again!

I tried 4 different flavors of fried chicken (supreme, honey butter, angry bird and angel onion) and my favorite flavour was Supreme, I recommend it. The fries were also very good.

One of the best Korean fried chicken in town. Lovely place with cozy environment for friends and family. The portion is quite generous for 24$. Beware it will be more than an adult to take one order, perhaps 1.5 unless you are very hungry. What we usually do is to come in as 3 people: 2 portion of fried chicken and 1 chicken skin. Oh, and the Seafood JammBBong (seafood stew hotpot) is very good too, but it's spicy!!
The staff is very friendly too
A+

What’s wrong with the attitude of the male server here (the one with tattoos on his arm)? We ordered the fish cake soup, which normally comes out quickly—we’ve had it here before. But this time it took forever, and no one updated us.

We tried to flag him down several times, and when he finally came over, we asked when the soup would be ready. He said he would check with the kitchen, but it was obvious he hadn’t even entered the order into the system in the first place. He never came back to give us an update, didn’t apologize, and we didn’t even get the free appetizer.

We had to get help from a much nicer waitress just to get our food packed and to pay the bill. And at the very end, when I was trying to finish packing the rest of the soup, he just came over and took the whole pot away without a word. Rude, unprofessional, and absolutely no sense of service.

If this server keeps treating customers like this, your restaurant’s reputation will tank. And don’t think I don’t see what’s going on—you really think you can get away with being both sexist and racist toward customers? There are already plenty of complaints about your bad attitude. Keep this up, and you’ll ruin the restaurant’s reputation all by yourself. Not really keen on coming back after this experience.
